This car phone holder has a clean, minimal design that looks modern and unobtrusive once installed. The overall build quality feels solid, and the alloy arm is intentionally stiff. It takes some strength to bend it into position, which is a good thing—it stays exactly where you set it and doesn’t drift or sag over time. Installation is straightforward, but surface prep matters. After cleaning the dashboard as directed, the mount initially didn’t hold until firm pressure was applied for about a minute. Once seated properly, it stayed in place. The instructions recommend allowing 24 hours before use, which is reasonable for this type of suction-based mount. The magnetic hold itself is strong and secure. Once the phone is attached, it feels stable even with movement and vibration. The multiple rotation points make it easy to position the phone for a clear, unobstructed view without creating blind spots. One downside is the magnetic ring requirement. If your phone or case isn’t already MagSafe-compatible, you must apply the included metal ring to the back of the phone or case. Only one ring is included, and no extras are provided. That limits the holder to a single phone unless additional rings can be sourced elsewhere, and it also locks you into using the same phone or case for continued compatibility. Overall, this is a well-designed, sturdy car mount with excellent holding strength, strong suction once properly installed, and a premium feel. The lack of extra magnetic rings is the main drawback, but performance and stability are otherwise very good. Read more

Innovative design, strong magnet, stiff bending arm. I have used a variety of phone mounts, some with plastic bits that break, adjustable arms that don’t stay in place, holders that auto close, pinch or cradle the phone. Also have one with magnetic mount. So what have I learned? Strong magnetic mounts do work even on rough roads! Plastic arms move or break, pinch style cradles will not securely hold on rough roads. Suction cups are generally not a long term mounting solution, even these sticky gel style suction cups do fail at times, but overall they do a good job adhering to even semi-rough dashboards. Suction cups have improved over the rubberized plastic versions, however, I have had a mount with the sticky gel style mount melt in the hot summer sun… so concerned about the durability of this mount, the directions say not to mount it in direct sunlight, that is something very difficult to find on a car dashboard. The photos say temperatures up to 180 degrees F, however the item description says 120 degrees F. Car interiors are known for hot temperatures far above the 120 degree range, so we will find out next summer on the durability of the suction base. I like the ability to bend the arm to fit your unique dash and the desired location. So far (for winter temperatures) a recommended buy. Read more

I've tried a few means to make my phone, in particular my Samsung foldable, work well as a visible navigational device in my car. Past challenges included the magnet being too weak, the suction (car attachment) being too weak), or the connector being too large and even affecting visibility. This one resolved all issues: - Strength: This magnet is strong enough to hold a foldable device - Suction: holds to the car effectively. - Visibility: The device only has to connect to your car's dashboard. It doesn't have to also connect to your front windshield like others do. Additional benefits: - Flexibility: this is a simple solution, with a bendable, adjustable connector to position your phone, - Strength: The suction to connect your phone also has an adhesive. It's beneficial for an extra strong attachment, but also means this shouldn't be moved around much. - Adjustability: Although the adhesive tells me not to move this around, this device has a good system to "lock/unlock" the suction by a switch (see image). The big selling point of this phone car mount is how versatile it is. You can literally mount it on any available flat surface and then bend it to the perfect position for an unobstructed view your phone. I bought this as a gift for my mom's Hyundai Kona because other mounts we've tried were either unstable or could not be mounted in a safe driving location. Installation is super easy. It even comes with cleaning and drying wipes to make sure your chosen surface is prepped correctly before mounting. Next, peel away the film, press onto the surface, and turn the rotary dial to lock in maximum suction. Once installed, the holder is really sturdy. Combined with the strong magnets, once mounted, the phone barely moves, even on slightly bumpy roads. Very pleased with this product. Read more

The manufacturer has designed this phone holder to be sleek and minimal. I like that. The arm takes a little strength to bend upward or downward and I doubt it will fall out of position on its own once in place. I followed directions to clean my dash before affixing the holder. It didn't stay in place so I applied hard pressure for about a minute and gently removed my hand. It stayed in place. The directions say to allow 24 hours before using it. One thing I wasn't crazy about is having to apply a metal magnetic ring to the back of my phone. The purpose of the metal magnetic ring is so that my phone will grip to the magnetic mount on the holder. The holder doesn't come with an additional metal magnetic ring to be used on another phone nor do I see that additional rings are for sale. So only one person can use the holder and I guess I'm stuck using the same phone/phone case for this product to be useful in the future. For these reasons, I rated this product 3 stars. Read more
