This bag is very cheap looking. It doesn't appear to be "genuine leather" as called out in the description. In my humble opinion it was made of faux leather (fake leather). There are some good characteristics for the bag . It is robustly made and appears to be durable to last a long time. It also has plenty room to carry items. Everybody I show it to relate it doesn't look or feel like leather. I didn't order a faux leather bag, I wanted genuine leather. I should have realized that the low price 65.00 for a bag of it's type made of genuine leather! In view of the foregoing, I will not recommend this bag. If I wanted faux leather I would have ordered a bag made of faux leather! I'm not a leather expert and I do not profess to be, but it certainly does not look like or feel like any of the genuine leather products I own! Read more

Visually, this messenger bag has an expensive look and sense about it. The leather has a matte finish and a marbled, slightly textured surface. The brass-tone hardware, buckles and locks are a nice complement to the rch brown color. Getting into the bag was a challenge for me. There are two front straps with decorative buckles. Beneath the straps are sliding push locks that release the flap. I guess the extra effort is meant to provide some sort of protection against theft, but it does take longer to gain access. The interior is lined and has a credit card slip, two pen slips, a thin pocket, and a zipper pocket on the sides so you can organize your things. It’s deep enough (13” long) to handle a tablet or small laptop, however, it’s pretty narrow overall (3-4” deep) so you can’t get much more than that inside. There’s a small pocket on the front of the bag that you have to unbuckle to use, ie, takes extra time to get open. There’s also a zip-open pocket on the back. To carry the bag, you can use the attached handle grip at the top or the attached shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is leather on one side and fabric on the other and has a sliding buckle adjustment. While the concept is good, the functionality and interior space are lacking, in my opinion. I was looking for a smaller, less bulky bag to carry a variety of miscellaneous things when I go hiking or take a short trip and something large enough to carry my laptop. This bag fits my needs perfectly, it's made from a high quality leather, appears that it'll be very durable and look even better as it softens and ages. And the wonderful smell of Leather is a bonus.. Read more

Pros: Overall, it has a neat look Has a good sized pocket on the back that is fairly deep. Main compartment has a large pocket that is big enough for a small laptop or tablet with keyboard. Main compartment has two little loops for pens and a pocket for business cards. It also has a deep zippered pocket on the other side as well as another small pocket. Front has another small pocket Zippers move well. Shoulder strap is adjustable Cons: Has a kind of bunchy wrinkle on the small pocket in the front that doesn’t look like it is supposed to be there. The current price on Amazon for this bag is 59.99 and based on the quality and how well it looks like it is going to hold up, it appears to be rather overpriced. The price seems to be based on the desirability of the style rather than the quality of the actual materials. The quality seems to be on the lower end. Looking at the strap, I’m worried that this bag is not going to hold up to daily usage. I will try to update this review at a later date to give a better idea of life expectancy on it. The buckles on the straps move about a little more than I would like as well. I am concerned that they are going to come totally apart. Read more

But if I complete the buckle will the metal piece rest as it should? Nope, still sticking out ready to be a weapon or catch on someone's outfit causing me to have to pay for someone else's clothes. The whole buckles underneath the buckles is a bit cumbersome but I suppose slows down possible pickpockets, however more likely the entire bag would just be stolen so not sure what the point is? It's small, so think kindle or small tablet will fit inside with other items, it's certainly not holding even a small laptop. It is real leathers so tight, which will work itself out as time and usage wears into the leather, that quality is there but the overall design is just I suppose the word I am looking for is...dated? I'm referring to the fight club entry into this bag and the inside pockets it has, which the zippers are all doing their zipping well. However, this is why I am not using the product my son it because they like it so it works for them but me, nope pass. Read more

High quality bag. Real leather, so you need to break it in. The leather looks as pictured, with no noticable flaws--very dressy looking bag. Zippered pocket inside and on the back, giving you lots of storage space! The strap seems sturdy. Very pleased with this. Read more

This bag took a little while to arrive. When it did it came in a plain plastic bag. No wrapping no tags no inserts. Kind of disappointing for a $60 bag. The item itself looks like the pictures. Smells and feels like real leather. I like the distressed look. The buttons/clasps that hold the straps close wiggle and could be more secure. Doesn’t feel like those will last. The strap is also pretty thin- doesn’t feel like it will hold up over time. The bag isn’t too big either, you could probably fit a thin air pad but definitely not a laptop. Overall it’s nice looking but I expected better for the price tag. Read more
