These bralettes are wonderful! They are super comfortable, easy to put on without the hassle of having to clasp anything in the back or front, they have adjustable straps, and the pads are easily removable. These are my daughters favorite and she has been wearing them from day one. I have since purchased many others for her, which she refuses to wear and always reaches for these as they are super comfortable and have a nice seamless look underneath all of her tops. In no way do these removable pads make girls' chests look larger, but instead they do a nice job to cover up their developing chests and makes them feel less self conscious. Read more

Not just for teens! I am a mother of three. I have always had a hard time finding bras that will fit because I'm so small. After babies were born I could wear an A-cup okay, but now I'm back to my original size! This bra is absolutely perfect. Love the light padding, even though the pads do move around a bit in the wash. They are pretty easy to get back in place. You might want to put a safety pin in the opening while washing if you don't want the pad to come out. And as a bonus, the thin straps don't fall off my shoulders like every other bra I've owned! It's like having the comfort of a sports bra that you can use with business clothes! It even has pretty good coverage if you lean over and your blouse is loose! I usually buy a 32 or 34 A, and I purchased the extra large which fits perfectly. A pullover bra with adjustable very thin straps. Read more

My granddaughter is extremely fabric sensitive and doesn’t like wearing constrictive clothes. Plus, she’s really resisted wearing a bra at all. I had tried a lot of different styles of bras, but couldn’t find one that she liked. She always found something wrong with them. Finally, we landed on this one. She was okay with it! She likes the spaghetti straps because they’re soft feeling and not too much fabric like the sports bras. The band at the bottom is not restrictive and is not hard feeling like some of the other bras with elastic bands she tried on. We pulled out the pads because she didn’t want to look like she had slightly bigger breasts. Even without the pads, the double layer fabric is enough coverage to make me happy. All in all, a well designed bra! Read more

I purchased the XL for my 8 year old daughter (4'9" approximately 80lbs) because her nipples were "showing" through her shirts. She's been wearing sports bras but those had no padding. This padding is just enough to smooth out her shirts. The only change I would suggest would be to make the straps a little bit wider. This would help with comfort and it would also then look like a tank under shirt in re: to the straps showing. She hasn't complained of either but just a possible issue I thought of for when classmates start to take notice. Read more

We got three different training bras offered by Maidenform in size L (Large) for my tween daughter to try. She is 5'2" and a slim 75lbs, and a budding bust of 24". I've included several pictures, and will write a comprehensive review comparing and contrasting these: The Maidenform Girl Big Girls' Slim Bra Crop Seamless, White, Large was my daughter's favorite. It is nice, smooth 92% Nylon, 8% Spandex with no hooks, but adjustable straps. It is lightly padded and my daughter said it is more comfortable and supportive. We also got the XL in this one, and it is about an inch wider and has a little more coverage. Maidenform Girl Big Girls' Crop Bra (Pack of 3), Heather Grey/White/Black, Large We got this in the white/black/grey option. These are simple, single-layer 95% Cotton / 5% Spandex bras with no hooks. They provide coverage but no support. My daughter especially liked the black in this pack, as it worked better under dark clothing. They fit well, and they are great for everyday use under most tops. The straps are adjustable, which is a nice feature. The grey one is the only one with a decorative bow, and for us, it was also the only one in our pack that was badly sewn -- one side is much wider than the other. My daughter had a learning curve with fastening the Maidenform Girl Big Girls' Slim Bra V-Neck Seamless, Nude, Large . It is a soft 92% Nylon, 8% Spandex and has adjustable straps, and is lightly padded. This one seemed to run a bit smaller than the others but not terribly so, once adjusted properly. All of the bras were machine-laundered and line-dried, and have washed nice and retained their shape. The nylon has piled some, but that's expected with that kind of fabric. Overall, we are really happy with the Maidenform beginner bras, and have additionally ordered one of their Sports bras as well. Read more

My 11-year-old daughter has a bunch of bras I bought her that are different styles and from different brands. This is the one she asked me to buy more of. She likes that it has a nice wide band around the back, and that the pads are removable. She wears them without the pads right now, and since the pad pocket provides two layers of fabric in and of itself, it provides excellent coverage for her little buds. She particularly likes the nude color as it's less visible through thinner-fabric shirts. They also wash well and seem very sturdy. She's been wearing them for about 8 months now (in a size Medium -- she is about 4'10" and 72 pounds) and no problems. Read more
