Maidenform Womens Three-Hook Bra Extender

After getting fed up with my bra bands stretching out on me, I decided to buy a smaller 34" band in a different brand than I was used to thinking that once it stretched it would comfortably fit me, but my new Natori yogi bra wouldn't budge in size, so I bought these bra extenders since I was outside of the exchange window to get the 36" bra I needed and thought my bra would stretch out to. The extenders arrived in 3 different colors; black, nude, and white and attached to my bra easily and with out any issue. Each bra extender is close to 2.5" long in total length with each hook being spaced 3/4" apart. There are 3 rows of hooks with 3 hooks in each row. The fabric isn't itchy and very unnoticeable when attached to your bra. The hooks also stay in place. I have washed my bra in a lingerie bag many times with the extender still attached to my bra and when I pulled it out of the bag to hang dry, I was actually very surprised to see (after the first wash) that it was still completely attached to my bra. I have used the black extender on my Natori yogi bra for 7 months now and the hooks have held on great and the stitching is still strong. I would recommend these bra extenders to anyone needing them. I bought these to try with a favorite bra that was too tight around the ribs. I did measure the hook spacing before ordering. It worked so well, I ordered additional packs for 2, 3, and 4 hooks in both 3/4 " and 1/2 " spacing between hooks. For the price of one good bra, I have now reclaimed/recycled hundreds of dollars worth of bras too tight to comfortably wear. These are great for using with new bras, too. For some reason, retailers think that women with large rib cages must have large cup sizes, too. Just try to find a 44B among all the 44D's and 44DD's and 44DDD's. 42B's are easier to find - then just add an extension. These are well made, soft, and the hooks and loops are the same color as the fabric (a 'must' if you don't want to draw attention to your little bra alteration). I'm comfortable at last! Read more

After gaining weight, I tried ordering bigger bras. But you know what? Just because you increase the band width, bra makers assume you increase "The girls" too. So, putting on those new bras, it was like looking a a soufflé after someone slammed the oven door, just not a good fit like my old bras were. I'm not a fan of padding (I live in the land of triple-digit heat) so I needed to rethink my options. I did some research and found Bra Extenders. I saw them for every kind of bra out there. Some with elastic and measuring up to 5" but that wasn't what I wanted. I just needed one set of hooks larger. While looking at all that were offered, and every kind of price range. I started to notice something. Non-brand name extenders had stiff corners plagued with nylon thread which cause sharp corners. Not for me. I then started looking at brand names and while they cost $1 or $2 more, they had the rounded corners, extremely thin gauge plastic thread, and a bit of backing so you don't feel the hooks on the other side. I went with Maidenform. I'm glad I did. Each unit is 2.5" long. The 3-hook one I got is 2.25" high. I can't feel the extender at all, and I have very sensitive skin that would rat on any pokey-corners or thick seams in a heartbeat. My old bras now fit as good as they ever did.
