This is working out great for my toddler granddaughters that comes over during the week. The seat actually even has a little padding on it, along with two very sturdy handles to hold onto when climbing up and sitting. There’s a little turn latch that kind of helps tighten it against the toilet seat for extra starting. I like the separate stool too instead of the all in one climb ups because then it can also be moved over to the sink to assist with hand washing. Good quality and sturdy. Has a perfect size potty hole to make sure the child doesn’t fall-into it. Has a great cushion on the seat. The handles on the side help with the support. Great alternative less expensive option to a ladder style. But might take few uses to get used to it. My child was using this better than the ladder style. The potty training seat and stool is great for potty training. The seat is super stable on the toilet and easily removable. The step stool is also relatively stable but a child should be supervised while using it. It is the perfect height for our 2 year old to use to wash his hands (with help) and to climb up and down it. If you have a narrower bathroom, this may be a tighter fit if you are removing the toilet seat and putting the stool to the side. My daughter was previously using on the of the seats that has a ladder connected to the seat and the seat would slide all over the place or she’d nearly fall trying to pull her pants down. This seat takes those worries away and allows her to go alone without me having to make sure she won’t fall. The seat stays put and is as easy as placing on the seat.
