The BEST for potty training!

The BEST for potty training!! I bought two for my twins and we absolutely love it. The flushing sounds are great, the non-slip bottom makes it very sturdy, easy to assembly, and the perfect size for the littles! Highly Recommend Nuby’s My Real Potty for your littles! Read more

Best Toddler toilet on the Market!

The media could not be loaded. The Nuby toilet arrived promptly and was incredibly easy to put together. My 1.5 year old son started using it immediately. He even sat down and took a poop and it is only day 2 of training - Shows just how comfortable and easy the potty is to use! The Nuby is by far my favorite toddler training toilet. I highly recommend the Nuby my real potty! Pros: -Incredible design - looks like an miniature adult toilet. -Arrived in two pieces. Easy to put together; pulled it out of the box and could snap the upper part of the toilet in less than one minute, never even had to open the instructions that were supplied inside the box. Unscrewing the compartment to place the batteries in took about 5 minutes. -Non-Slip base is awesome, keeps the toilet in place without your little one sliding around. -Compact and easily transportable from room to room if needed. -Flusher sounds like a real toilet also lights up when flushed. This feature required unscrewing the bottom and placing the 2 AAA batteries in. Batteries were included, another plus. -Splash guard has kept all pee inside the toilet, major plus. -Full-size wipe dispenser fit as advertised. I use Pampers Sensitive, pop-tops. I just had to rip the plastic piece off to fit it since it is a perfect fit and you couldn't open a pop-top through the dispenser. -Unlike other training potties on the market, this toilet featured a lid which for me was a huge selling point. My one year old loves to close the lid so this has been awesome. -Removable and easy-clean bowl. If you aren't fast your little person could try to dump it themselves, thus spill but this is common with any portable toilet that you have to dump. -Comfortable height. My 1.5 year old can easily sit on it without assistance and go the bathroom. -Dimensions: 14" H X 15.5" L X 10"W -Nuby "My real Potty" by Dr. Talbot's -Suggestion is 18+m: My son is 1.5 years and used it just fine. -Max weight of 60lbs (27kg). -Product Design and all other TMs owned by Talbot's; Monroe, LA -Made in China -This purchase will help support Deaf Children's Literacy Project. Cons: -The potty is not very tall compared to a couple other potty training toilets that I have, however my tall 1.5 year old can use it no problem and I find that it is more durable than other similar models. It is rated up to 60 pounds so even my 3 year old sat on it and went to show her younger brother how it was done. While shorter than some training toilets, it does not fall apart or scoot around which is a huge advantage. -Not a deal breaker, but unlike other potty training toilets that have a removable basin/bowl, this one has a solid material underneath (thus no open hole) so if you aren't fast enough your kid could pee in the actual toilet without the bowl. This happened to me, day one - just had to clean it out then but the bowl back in. To prevent it, I just started taking the entire toilet with me so he was not tempted to go while the bowl was out. -Unscrewing the inside of the toilet to put the batteries in was not difficult, but trying to get the batteries in and then re-screw the bottom back on was a bit challenging because it is a very tiny/deep area to work with. I have long-thin fingers and I felt it was hard getting that part secured so if you have large hands this would be very difficult to accomplish. Read more

Mom of 5 approved!!

As a mother of 5 (3 boys and 2 of them are twins) I can honestly say this is one of the best products I’ve ever purchased. It’s easy to dump and clean. We don’t use the flush button after the first time the battery died but who cares? My boys learned to pee standing up with ease. Yes guys, they’re still gonna miss lol but this helps with aim and gives them independence. Keep your urine spray and shaving cream on hand to get rid of your bathroom smells while training and snatch those diapers!!! Good luck! Flushing ability: Easy to dump Size: Perfect for little guys Value for money: Great value would buy 100x again Functionality: Works just as it should Read more

perfect training potty with a couple parental adjustments

My toddler loves this little potty because it looks like the real thing and he can “flush” it when he’s done. It is easy to put together, clean and definitely worth the price. Two pieces of advice for other parents: 1. Don’t put wipes in the wipe dispenser because those are way too fun for the kiddo to pull out! 2. Take the lid off the potty so it is always an empty bowl. I just cleaned up a major #2 mess because kiddo tried to go in the potty when the lid was closed. If you follow my pieces of advice I think you will find this is the perfect training potty! Good luck on potty training you can get through this!! Read more

Great potty training chair

Fantastic, my child loves to use it and it’s quick and easy to set up and put together, the chair has a U shaped cushion for comfort and it’s easy to fold up and put away for next time use. The chair seems pretty sturdy definitely not flimsy and its stability seems questionable, the chair comes with little grips at the bottom but they do move a lot on the floor. Cleaning it is easy the cushion comes off and you’re able to wash it. The chair is a little different because it’s all on piece. Read more

Almost perfect

The toilet is easy to put together and the batteries last quite a bit, even when used more as a toy rather than a potty training tool. The plastic bowl makes clean up quick. If you're like me and can't stand leaving pee droplets on the base or sides of the toilet, the battery portion of the potty is small and comes off. Everything else can be rinsed or sprayed down without concerns over electronic parts not working. The flushing sound is semi-realistic without being too loud. It even lights up when pressed! My only "complain" is that the hollow floor base of the toilet, the part underneath the gray plastic, somehow accumulates pee or gray water. The design makes the seal between the base and the seat great, but not completely impenetrable. I couldn't find the source of the acidic smell of urine until I unscrewed the 5 screws and saw the puddle of grey water and pee at the very bottom of the base. There's multiple divots, so drilling a hole in the bottom and leaving the toilet on a towel won't prevent the necessity to take it completely apart to drain that grey water. I solved this problem by pouring scented baking soda in the divots at the bottom of the base after completely disinfecting it. That way, even if some urine gets into the base, it'll get absorbed and be a little easier to clean up. But beware: if you move the toilet around after adding the baking soda at the bottom, you risk it spilling out through the small crevices. Moving the seat between houses during potty training made it easy to spill the powder if one wasn't careful. I'd still recommend it to anyone, regardless of where the kiddo is in their potty training journey. Read more
