I’ve had three c-sections and have gone through numerous belly binders. This is by far the best quality band I’ve ever had. The material is super thick and sturdy and also includes back supports. I would size up because it wasn’t super stretchy but, that helps with the support and durability. Worth the money! Read more

I had 4 different types of these compression garments. The ones from the hospital were basic - single piece of stretchy material wirh Velcro- hard to do up / change yourself without help. Also scratchy and uncomfortable. I bought two other styles from Amazon but they didn’t offer the support this product did - one of them rode up constantly and they both didn’t have the length on the additional side Velcro tabs to make a difference to holding in the tummy area. I think maybe they were for people who just want to cinch in their waist and don’t really want support across the stomach. I also like the hand “pocket” which makes it easier to put it on yourself. The side Velcro comes right across the tummy to provide extra support and you can let it out / loosen it during the day as needed (or at night). It sits comfortably - I only wish they also offered a size that wasn’t so wide - for those times I need to be seated for long periods. But it’s a minor point. I know this model is expensive but it’s worth it for something you have to wear almost 24/7 for 6 weeks or more. I hope this helps someone, as I found the choice of options a bit overwhelming. TLDR: Great waistband that provides all the support in the right places for your guts to get back into place after a c-section or after giving birth in general. At the same time, I was able to control the right amount of pressure where I needed it the most. At the hospital, you get these single-layered, not the greatest quality waistbands. They do the trick in the moment, but you'll start to notice that the waistband bunches up in certain areas or that the support is lacking in places where the waistband won't conform. This product is the next level, WAY above the general hospital's wristbands. Fabric is soft to the touch and not itchy at all against bare skin. If you don't want any imprints, however, I recommend a thin tank top or light t-shirt to go under it before you wrap yourself up. The compression given by the extra flaps on the side really sealed the deal for me. It tightens up any parts not being supported by the main band. Thanks for reading! Read more

Have bought abdominal supports in the past. This one is great. Great restraints and support that are easy to adjust. So comfortable compared to others. I bought it after hernia operation at my surgeons suggestion. Highly recommend. Read more

This is my favorite postpartum belly wrap. I did have a C-section. It is easy to put on post-op. I like that the straps have a little part to put them on more easily. I feel that it was on the spendier side. It is good quality and I know the straps will hold up. It is easy to adjust by myself without help. I would still highly recommend this. I believe this is eligible for the health savings if you have a health savings card. Read more

I’m one week into my c section recovery and this belly band has been the absolute best right out of the package. I was relying on the band I received from the hospital, as the one I wasted money on during my last pregnancy was horrible. The hospital one was good but not intended for long term use. This new band works exactly as described. I learned about it by reading a few reviews on The Bump and Babylist websites. It’s comfortable, not too thick, very breathable and still works well when sitting, standing and nursing. That was a big deal for me - didn’t want something that felt like armor around my midsection while trying to nurse my newborn. I also never worry about the stiffness poking me at the bottom near my incision. This is totally worth every penny. I especially appreciate it being only one piece and not multiple. Go for it, moms. You won’t be disappointed. Read more

Overpriced junk. Don't waste your money on this wrap. No better than similar items for half or a quarter the price. Purchased for a woman who wore size Medium maternity clothes before giving birth, was about 130#,5' 4" post birth and this was too small to wear as directed, the arms didn't wrap around at all, it was stiff, and nonconducive to a human body. It was very uncomfortable on the stomach region when trying to wear "properly" and she had a panic attack in it. Extra care should be taken with these wraps, especially post delivery, not to cause organ prolapse or complicate abdominal diastasis. Unfortunately, due to life difficulties at the time, the wrap was not returned in the 30 day window and now we are stuck with an expensive hunk of junk. If you must buy yourself a dust collector, get a cheaper one and use all the extra money to pay a professional help you use it, maybe we missed something. - Emily Read more
