This is the industry standard for video tripods for lightweight cameras. I was using a much less expensive one for a while, but there wasn’t a lot of smoothness in pans and tilts, regardless of adjustment. I would advise buying the telescopic handles for both sides of this. That makes the use feel a lot more natural. Read more

We have 3 Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k G2 on the older Manfrotto 504 build heads and they work great. Each camera is about 18 lbs total. We needed one more for a 4th camera and couldn’t find the 504 fluid head with the floor spreaders. So we ordered this new 504x at almost $300 more than what we paid for the 504 one year ago. The 504x head is smaller and absolutely garbage. It can’t even handle 18lbs let alone 26 lbs. We are returning it. At this price, there is no way this is a viable solution for an 18 pound camera.
