The dashcam is as advertised fits my 2023 Wrangler 4xe JLU perfectly and does have very clean and integrated OEM look. The power is drawn from mirror dimmer with no external visible wires . Couple of things to be aware 1. The installation was quite fiddly, the install video abruptly cut out at the end which was the most difficult/confusing part. 2. My unit came with a GPS extension cable (not GPS unit which is sold separately) that unit would have to externally installed defeating the OEM look. 3. There is a parking mode but required addition parking mode wiring hardware sold separately. 4. The dashcam video/image itself is quite average, but this is again as advertised not like the batch of Sony STARVIS 2 dashcams in similar range. Overall no complaints .. Read more

Easy to install. But takes time to hide wires perfectly in the small box space. Its not as clear but quality is still good. Tips for the gps wire, I tucked it in the small area in the camera on the left side. Then the Y plug on the bottom goes in the hole and the other wire lays on the pole of the mirror. I feel the product is not correct for all Jeep Wrangler JL's from 2018 to 2024, the camera doesn't click in to the rear view mirror correctly and the camera housing doesn't hold the power correctly as well. The video the manufacturer provided is inaccurate as well. Read more

I like this camera a lot. It has clear images and has been reliable. It has a fixed position, so you don't have to adjust it and there's no worrying about accidentally bumping into it and changing the angle. It is hardwired, with all cords hidden, which is nice. Installation is a bit tricky, but not awful -- I recommend just removing the mirror then replacing it when the camera is in place. I had trouble with installation until I finally just removed the mirror and did it that way. The camera only runs when the Jeep ('s electric) is running. You can buy an adapter, but it is currently over $60 US, and looks huge -- I have no idea how you would stuff the box and wiring into the mirror. The camera holds a micro SD card, and can also be accessed via app and a WiFi connection. (Do NOT use symbols in your password!) The camera looks great in my JL because it is barely noticeable unless you are thinking about how the mirror usually/used to look. You do need to format the SD periodically. If it gets too full, the video clips are only a second or two long each, and it is very annoying. Snapshots also need to be downloaded quickly (Each night or is fine with my driving habits.) because they will be deleted by the looping video. Some videos are automatically locked by the camera/app, and I haven't found an easy way to delete/unlock them without reformatting the card. Read more
