I ordered this bag because it had an all-around expandable zipper that increased the depth of the bag from 4 inches to 8 inches. However, the "small" size was just way too small - a standard sized notebook or binder barely fit in it. It would work well as a large purse for women who carry a lot of stuff, but as a messenger bag, the small size just didn't cut it.
