Effective and durable with great absorbency!

These chamois worked flawlessly to dry the finish of my Jeep. The chamois are durable and had a nice heft to them. Despite the low cost, this sheepskin chamois was surprisingly thick and exactly as those that cost 2-3 times more! There was no weird smell and the absorbency was exactly what I was looking for! These chamois dry super fast. I just draped them over my clean soap bucket and let them dry overnight in our garage. ***FYI: I followed the directions and soaked the chamois in my kitchen sink for an hour or so.. I did this several times and wrung them out thoroughly. I let them COMPLETELY air dry in our hot garage before my first use. I store them in the garage cabinet with my other auto cleaning towels and supplies. They were ready to use when I decided to hand wash and wax my Jeep. 100% recommend these! Read more

This chamois performs well for me. It soaks up the water quite well, wrings out easily and will dry a vehicle quickly. Real chamois skins are far superior to towels and fake/synthetic chamois cloths. I didn't need to wash mine prior to use, like you may read some people saying should be done. I only soaked it with tap water and wrung it out several times and it was ready to go. I had read that some people found the cloth too thin and theirs tore apart easily. I pulled hard on mine and it didn't tear. I actually TRIED to poke my finger through it in several places as a test and it didn't tear. It seems pretty sturdy to me. The price is low for this size cloth, much lower than some other vendors are selling their smaller ones for, and I can't imagine theirs will be any better than this one. Read more
