This case is very well made, the magnetic clasp is such a fancy touch, I really like it. I also like the rubber insert, seems more hygienic and adds to the quality of the product. The added tools, the remover and the chewies, are a nice bonus, but I didn't really have a use for them. Today I learned what chewies are, ha, just something to bite down on to line up your aligner trays. I did use aligner trays to correct my teeth, but it was quite some time ago. I'm at the retainer stage now. But I do remember using them and the removal tool would have been great back then (I ended up just using my fingernails). Not sure I would have used the chewies though. To each their own... The case is very portable and slim (AA battery for scale). It would be perfect for people using aligner trays, since you need to remove them every time you eat. I do wish you could just buy one of these. Price per case is perfect to me. But I guess having a backup isn't a bad thing. Just seems the product is going to stand the test of time and I won't need the extra. Maybe you can use one for on the go and one for at home? Read more
So I've checked a few different cases and this is probably overall the best one I've come across so far. The biggest plus is that it's translucent, so you can more or less see what is or isn't inside before you open it. This is kind of a big deal because it's a small visual reminder for a teen or anyone to be careful before opening it, resulting in less things falling onto an unsanitary floor. Also comes with chewies if you need them for the clear aligners and a removal tool. It does not have a mirror like some others but I think it's more important that you can see what's in the case. The lid opens and closes fairly easily but is still just as secure as other similar magnetic lock cases. My only concern is as other's have mentioned this is a little shallow, noticeably shallower than some other cases. You'll just need to check the measurements. At first glance, I liked this container a lot. It's a lot smaller and sleeker than the cheap plastic one I got from the orthodontist, I like the lining, and it feels good quality overall. I also like that it comes in a 2-pack (I keep one by my bed and one in the bathroom) and has the chewies and other thing that I don't use since I only have retainers and not invisalign. However, there are 2 downsides, one of which is a bigger deal than the other. First, more minorly, it's not super easy to open and close. It's magnetic and you have to get your fingernail in to open it easily. Secondly, a big fault is that there's no ventilation. I try to brush/wash my retainers fairly regularly, especially as I'm guilty of not brushing my teeth before putting them in on nights I'm super exhausted, and I don't like that if I close this on damp retainers, there is nowhere for the water to evaporate and sufficiently dry out, which seems like a breeding ground for bacteria and odor. Again, I really love the look and feel AND I do think the price point is more than fair (less than $10 at the time of reviewing), but just beware of this shortcoming before buying. I think I'll keep using it because it's still superior to the cheap one I had, but I'm going to have to make sure I leave it open when my retainers are drying so they can air out. Read more
I got them to keep them in my car. Sometimes when I go out to have lunch or dinner I forgot my aligner case at home, but now with these cases I don't have to keep my aligners wrapped in a napkin. And I like they are blue colored, easy to not forget them on the table, when I was using napkins sometimes I was forgetting them on the table and the waiter did throw them away. Each case comes with an extractor and a chewie. I don't like extractors and I didn't try the chewies yet but is nice they are included in the package. The case close properly and wont open unless you want, good to keep my aligners clean. The only thing I miss is maybe a couple of holes for ventilation, but besides of that the case is perfect. Nice cases that are see through but with smoked colored. They are well made and come with hooks to remove the dental appliance and those bite sponges that are needed at times but no fun to use. These are large enough for even the largest mouth guards. They close and open easily with a strong magnet to hold the case close. The silicone insert fits perfectly and cushions so no damage if they case gets abused. This is a great set! Read more
My daughter wears retainers so I decided to get these cases for her. With the cost of retainers what it is, they need good protection when not being worn. These are well constructed with a rubber pad bottom. The latch is magnetic which makes it easy to open yet closes secure enough that you don't have to worry about it coming open when you don't want. The fact that there are two cases, they are well made, and come with some extras makes them a great buy. Read more
This is a nice pair of compact slim retainer cases. Small yet ample space to hold my son’s top and bottom retainers in a single case. The bottom half of the case has a removable silicone tray. The cases come with a hook like tool, presumably used to remove your retainer or aligned out of your mouth. Also includes a pair of chewy rubber tubes, presumably used in installing - securing aligners in the mouth. A pretty good value for a pair of these. Read more
