Very chic. High quality stone. Read more
This item is described "for shower" use; however, given it's adhesive grips and no drainage holes, I disagree with their description, "no more messy puddles". Since we have replaced bar soaps at the bathroom sink with liquid soaps, this marble "soap dish" serves as an attractive and elegant addition to the bathroom counter (or kitchen counter or bedroom nightstand) for miscellaneous items (e.g., jewelry, watch, eyeglasses, etc.). This soap dish is exactly as described. It is a black marble rectangle with an oval for soap. This makes it a big improvement over what I had, haha. While I think soap may pool at the bottom, like in any soap dish, the shape of this one will only hold an oval soap without some air in between it and the marble, meaning I think the soap will dry between uses. But if it did not, I think this stone surface would be fine. It is elegant looking, in a timeless design tht would also look perfect on a coffee table for trinkets or on a dresser to catch a watch or jewelry. Read more
I ordered this soap dish in the black color variety called “Nero Marquina”. Its coloration is extremely similar to the stone shown in the seller’s listing photos. The majority of the stone is black, interspersed with the occasional gray ribbon-like inclusion. The dish itself has a nice weight to it. The depression for the soap is deep enough to secure a small to medium-large sized bar of soap, without being so deep water or unwanted moisture pools inside/beneath the soap. The dish is most appropriate for small to medium sized bars. This is not meant to accommodate oversized bath bars or anything like that. The top and sides are polished to a smooth sheen. The bottom face has a matte finish. The seller included rubber stopper-feet to place on the bottom to prevent damage, which I appreciate. I do personally feel that upwards of $20 is slightly steep price-wise, especially when compared to comparable market options of the same quality of marble, size, and caliber of craftsmanship. That said, I am pleased overall. Read more

This is a pretty marble dish. It seems to be real marble and is exactly has shown in the listing. It’s not too deep, which is good for soap dishes, because otherwise they can hold too much water and you end up with soggy soap. I would highly recommend this soap dishes if it looks like what you need, because it doesn’t disappoint. Read more

This soap holder was made from a nice piece of marble, but its concave indentation is too small to hold a small rectangular bar of French almond bar soap. The soap holder also lacks a means of draining the soap regardless of whether the bar is oval or rectangular. Would be worth the price if it could hold a bar of soap properly and had some way of elevating the soap so it could dry after use. Unfortunate, because the soap dish looks really good with my new black bathroom sink fixtures and white quartz countertop. Read more
