compact, light, easy to wash

Nice sleeping bag for Spring/Summer/early Fall. It's very light and compact, so travels well. This also makes it simple to wash in pretty much any washer/dryer. Read more

Great bag, not such a great color!

It's definitely a quality bag. Its cozy and fits well. I'll be using it next wee and will report more on it's usage. The color is absolutely DISGUSTING!!!! I honestly don't know what were thinking. That's enough to make me want to return it. I bought as a last minute purchase because my other Marmot bag is too warm for this time of year. Read more

Lightweight, warm, but very tight

I bought this for spring/fall backpacking in the midwest and east. I used it for the first time last month in PA. While synthetic fill may not be as compressible and lightweight as down, it does retain more warmth if it gets wet, which gives me a little extra security, with our unpredictable midwest/east coast weather. Pros: Lightweight. Stuffs very compactly. Good price. Warm enough for me - I was comfortable in the low 40's, in a tent, wearing lightweight thermals. But I am generally a pretty warm sleeper. Cons: It is tight. I'm 6', 210 lbs and it felt truly like a "mummy bag". Once zipped up and my arms are in it, I could not turn in it - it would roll over with me when I rolled. My arms were also pinned to my side or chest. It did take some getting used to, but with the "pros", I will still use it. But if you are big or get claustrophobic, it may not be the bag for you. Very Lightweight and compact

I bought this to have something light to pack for hiking in the mountains. I am familiar marmot is a quality name in backpacking gear. I was surprised by how small the sack was and was even more surprised I was able to stuff it back in. The material is thin but it feels very durable and I'm 6'2" and about 145 lbs so I can easily fit it over my head and body. It feels like it traps your body heat but I might bring a fleece blanket just in case. I plan to use it on a backpacking trip to Colorado this year. Read more

Wonderful sleeping bag for kids!

Absolutely love this sleeping bag! I’ve never slept in it before but it seems to work great for my kids ages 11, 10 and 7. We’ve owned these for 2 years now and they have held up very well! My husband goes camping quite often with YMCA Adventure Guides and these are the perfect little sleeping bags because they take up hardly any space. We live in Southern California so the climate doesn’t get too extreme and I’d say we mostly use this outdoors from Spring to Fall. I’ve seen other reviews complain about it not being warm enough and I definitely wouldn’t use this in really low temps for that reason. I did send it with my daughter to science camp where it was snowing outside but they were inside a cabin. It is a small and narrow sleeping bag so probably not for an adult unless you are on the small side. It’s also the perfect thing for sleepovers. I can fit it in a duffel bag for when my kids spend the night over at a friend’s house. It’s about 12” tall and six inches wide. Pic is showing scale next to a large water bottle. I haven’t had much trouble at all getting it back in the bag it comes in. You just need to be diligent about squeezing any air out as you’re rolling it up and then stuffing it into the bag. Highly recommend this sleeping bag! Read more

Perfect warm-weather bag

I love everything about this bag except the color! It’s super lightweight, soft and comfortable, packs tiny, and is affordable. The comfort rating is 60 degrees F, and I usually get really cold, so I was worried, but I camped at altitude at a low of 45 degrees and it was fine! I was in a tent with 1 other person, plus I have a very warm sleeping pad and I wore my regular clothes inside the bag, but I still expected that I’d be cold, and I wasn’t. The only thing I’d change is I wish the inside color (blue) was on the outside; it’s much prettier than the murky green. Oh well! Read more

Great Bag For A Great Price! Stay Tuned For Updated Review After Camping Trip!

Needed a nice compact sleeping bag to take on hiking/camping trips. I bought this during Prime Day, as they had a great deal on it. It is nice and compact yet big enough to have enough room for mobility. I am 5'7" so I wasn't to worried about the space. I will be camping in the middle of September, and will update this review when I get the bag out into the wilderness. *Update* Finally got this bag out into the wilderness. It was everything I needed. It kept me warm on the cool nights, but it wasn't too hot on the warmer nights. The pack-able size of this made it super easy to put into my backpack and not take up a ton of room. I'm glad I decided to purchase this bag and will definitely be looking into more Marmot products. Panic attack in a bag

Inexpensive for a literal coffin. I read the reviews from grown men saying it was a snug fit but decided to find out for myself. I am a woman, 5’7, 110lbs, and very thin yet I still could not move at all in this bag despite its long length. The material is basic polyester, not the most comfortable but definitely as advertised. The design is awkward, the way the zipper comes all the way up to the hood makes it very uncomfortable to sleep with it partially zipped. Gave it a solid try but didn’t even sleep three hours before waking up in a panic having to crawl out of it. I have a northface 0° mummy bag that I’ve had no issues with fit wise, it is just too warm to take on my upcoming trip. I highly suggest you DO NOT buy this bag if you want to be able to sleep with even the slightest bit of comfort. Pretty color though! Read more
