For the price these are really quality! I am super happy with them! Nice weight and feels great in your hand. All of them are very sharp and cut extremely well! Beautiful Ivory and gold color. They look very classy sitting on the counter. I've had them three months now and they are holding up well. I am hand washing mine as I want the gold to stay fresh looking for years to come. But they are nicely made with a quality finish, and I do believe they would hold up fine in the dishwasher. The blade thickness for the price is quite impressive. In all honesty, I bought this set for the way it looked. My kitchen is very gold heavy on decor. But...I ended up being very surprised at the quality of the set for the price I paid. I own much more expensive knives, the workhorses you hide away in the drawers because they aren't aesthetically pleasing, but these are performing way above my expectations and feel as if they will have some real durability for some time to come. I really really wanted to love this set because I’ve been hunting forever for a knife set that had stainless steel blades with gold accents and white or ivory handles. This seemed like exactly what I was looking for. On taking it out of the box I could already tell that it was a cheap knife set. The steak knives are like something you can purchase at the dollar store, cheap and flimsy. The blades just bend. These are pathetic. Save your money for something better. Returning them and going back to the set that I had from Chicago cutlery. Read more
