We needed a mat for the carpeting in a spare room so as to set it up for a work space and computer area. This mat fit the bill perfectly. this arrived in a long box with the mat rolled inside. I was worried it would be curled on the ends, however it laid perfectly flat. Our desk was 60 inches wide and we ordered the 51 inch mat to accommadate the legs on the table. It's exactly what we needed. it doesn't move at all, because It has some really good ( what I would call) teeth on the bottom side. Our carpet was a medium height and the mat for low or standard is what we chose. The chair runs really smoothly on this, and I'm not tripping over the edge of it as I walk to the desk either. So far it works great but we've only had it a week. I forgot to mention it's very clear as well. I say order this one! Read more

I got this to put in my sewing room, it works well, my chair moves easily and it seems very sturdy. I give it 4 stars because it does move around some and I have to adjust it, maybe it's just because my carpet is new and thicker. I need to get another and will definitely get this same one because I like it better than any other carpet mat I have ever had. Read more
I wanted to make sure we purchased a chair mat that was sturdy plastic; not that soft rubbery material that still gets indentations from chairs. I was not disappointed with this mat. It is very sturdy and durable plastic. And the 'cleats' on the underside are just the right size for standard (medium) thickness carpet. I wish the mat was just a little less expensive, but overall this feels like one of the best quality chair mats available, so I'm not disappointed. Also, it is IMPORTANT to heed the warnings on the box and the tape that is holding the mat all rolled up together. When you cut that tape, this hard plastic product with 'cleat's on one side bursts open and back to its laying-flat state. I did not see the warnings because I was too excited to get the mat opened and installed, and it definitely stunned me and hit my arms and legs when it sprung back open. Read more
My chair is a heavy professional office chair. Carpet low-pile. I am on the heavier side. Within a day, the mat busted in several places with loud pops as my chair rolled across it. This is mostly because it was flimsy on top of the carpet and created a wave effect as I would try to roll my chair. I would just use it busted like that except that now it's got a shape where it wants the chair leg wheels to be and rolls me backward to that spot, and that's not in the place I need my chair in correlation to my desk, and now i have an aching back - so tossing this mat into the garbage. Less than 1 week of use. Money wasted. No time to mess with returns, etc. Read more
The produce is almost crystal clear, it does have the nibs that hold it to my pile carpet, but I wish there were some way to reliably figure out (before ordering) how "flexible" the product is. I was looking for a clear mat that has a good deal of "bendiness" to it. Whatever polymer is used in this mat makes the mat hard, almost glass-like and only flexible enough to bend it into the big tube shape in which it came packaged, and to slightly bend the mat to get it to lay down on the floor. I have two other mats that must be made from a different polymer (or a different amount of plasticizer) and they are much more flexible--which I need in order to get the mats to fit under the desks and other furniture in my small room without having to empty the entire room first. I don't particularly like how "glasslike" this mat is because I worry that over time it might crack or chip as the chair casters roll over it, but I guess for the right application this mat would fit the bill. It doesn't really for mine. I will keep it because now that I've got it in the room I just don't want to go through the trouble of taking it out. If you need a mat with a specific amount of flexibility, I would recommend going to a big box/office supply store and finding what fits your needs, or getting the info and then ordering that specific item online so you are sure it will meet your requirements. A note of caution about these mats in the larger sizes that come rolled up in a tube: those sizes have a piece of paper (in my order it was not attached to the product but was lying loose in the bottom of the box) warning to be careful removing the clear plastic wrapping that holds the mat in its tube shape. Heed those warnings (as I did) and open the wrapping where the mat won't hit breakables or spring back at you. As the warning says, the tube shape is really under pressure and the mat pops open with a lot of force when you release the plastic wrapping. Read more
My old chair mat finally fell apart, read all the reviews and selected the Marvelux mat for replacement, arrived yesterday, I opened it and it immediately went flat, no curling, haven't had it for long, but so far just as advertised and just perfect for my needs. I do have a commercial low pile carpet that it sits on, my chair rolls easily, mat does not move or dent! Read more
I like that this product is shipped flat so I didn't have to worry about curling issues. It's rectangle so there is plenty of room for my chair to move around without slipping off onto the carpet. It seems to stay in place and not shift around. It seems very sturdy and durable. I spend a lot of time in my office chair and I still don't see any pits or dents from my wheels. The product was well worth the price and shipped quickly. Read more
