Not cheap looking
I could’ve sized down, but felt safer with the 14 so my gut didn’t show. However, the fit was basically good and I was pleased with the style and craftsmanship. I also go a few compliments. Read more

Customers say
Customers find the dress well-fitting, chic, and professional, appreciating its thick, forgiving material and good value for money. Customers disagree on the sizing and length, with some finding it true to size while others say it runs small and has arms shorter than expected.

I took a chance and ordered this dress, on the long shot that it would not be some cheap poorly made product that I would have to return. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the material and construction of the dress. I immediately returned to the product line, and orders another. It is very nicely made and can be slipped on for the office, and transition right into evening for any type of business dinner. I got the navy blue, and the color was spent on, as pictured. It's comfortable. It does fit a bit snug. I'm busty and it even fit in that area, not too tight. If you like snug fits for the office, order your size. If you would like a comfortable fit, as pictured, order a size up. Nice stretchy type of material. It looks way more expensive than the price. The only downside, is the notch at the collar. It does not stand up, it flops open. However, it flops open evenly on both sides. Which actually is a nice plus, because it looks like that's the style of the dress. One would never know it is supposed to stand up. I will update after having to launder or dry clean. Let's see how that holds up. Read more

I liked it. Reviews were mixed but I gave it a try. It was pretty and fit well. The material is a little different but not terrible either. Better in Winter than Summer because it doesn't get the air flow like cotton. Overall, I loved it. Read more
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Classic lines, soft but substantial material. The navy looks high end designer. The line follows your feminine shape effortlessly. I feel like I am ready to walk the catwalk in it!! I am wearing it for a debut back to an organization I left behind 3 years ago. Talk about the perfect dress!!! Read more
I give this dress 3 stars. The fit was expected; I’m 5ft 10”, a true size 10, but decided I didn’t want it too fitting, so I sized up and bought a size 12. Had a little adjustments to make, but it fit just as I wanted I give this dress 3 stars, because I was at an all day event and the seams started to fall apart on me. I had to run to the pharmacy and buy some safety pins to discreetly keep my dress from falling apart. And the seams that became loose were the areas where no adjustments were done (the back...right under the end of the zip and the seam that runs right at the butt) I was sooo embarrassed. But luckily the safety pins held the dress up. So obviously where my dress fell apart was how the garment was sewn My advice, carry it to your dressmaker/ seamstress, let them run a stitch or 2 over the seams, just in case. Other than that, beautiful dress, the material of the dress is thick and it’s an expensive looking dress at a great price. Read more
I was incredibly sad to return this item due to the fit being wrong for my body type (rather straight/ athletic with weightlifting thighs), because the fabric texture and sewn princess seam pattern made this dress look much more expensive than it really is. If it were lined (it's not), it would be White House/ Black Market quality, just made for a different body type. Size 8 was simultaneously too roomy/ large up top while showing the skin tight outline of my butt and quads down to my knees. This fit would be ideal for a curvier fit woman who has a more substantial top than bottom. I'm 5'4" 135 lb, 31" waist, and size 8 would probably have been the appropriate size if I were built more like an hourglass than a brick. The dress length hit at the appropriate spot just below my knees, as shown in the photo. This dress would be very cute but modest on a woman who fit the right body type. Read more
There is a lot that I love about this dress: its weight and cut and the neckline. It fits a little snug but in a flattering way. The neckline and tailoring create an elegant look while the fabric gives enough that you can move comfortably. The dress came out of the bag without a wrinkle. And that was after being stuffed in my mailbox all day. It falls about 2 inches below my knees, but has a kick vent in the back that allows you to walk. I may or may not hem it. This is a brand you want to order a size up with. I initially ordered an 8, and while i could get it on, it just was too confining. The 10 fits perfect. (I am 5'7" and weigh 153). My hips are wider than my shoulders, so I was worried the shoulders would be too big, but they aren't. The fabric may be a bit heavy for warm weather, but I think will be comfortable in air conditioned offices and restaurants. Two negatives I can live with: 1. It will attract lint and dog hair. 2. The zipper tends to stick. Fortunately, the fabric stretches and the neck opening is wide enough that I can pull the dress on over my head without undoing the zipper. That's one benefit to having narrow shoulders, lol. Read more
