I was told at a Macy's beauty counter that in order for a product to work on the outside we must take collagen internally also. I tried a few brands of collagen tablets and had poor results. I absolutely love this product! I was using UC type II collagen but my subscribe and save had informed me they were out of stock. So I ordered the Mason collagen after reading rave reviews and I'm so glad I did! Not only does my hair skin and nails look better my joints feel much better than the type II collagen and it's cheaper! It does have a funny smell but it doesn't bother me. I agree with others about the smell. I take many supplements and can usually tolerate their scents, but this one is so bad I just couldn’t handle it. I ended up tossing it in the trash. It’s a collagen capsule with lots of added vitamins, which I think is why it smells so awful. Read more
