This matcha has a pleasant, mellow flavor that works really well in making matcha lattes. It’s not overly bitter, and the slight sweetness makes it easy to enjoy in addition to milk or a milk alternative. It blends smoothly and gives drinks that mild green tea color and taste. While it’s not the highest grade matcha out there, it still delivers a solid experience, especially since it provides the distinct matcha flavors that stand out nicely in milk. The texture is fine enough to dissolve without clumping, and the flavor holds up nicely without being overpowered by other ingredients. Overall, it’s a great value for the amount you get. The big bag lasts a long time, making it a smart buy if you’re regularly making matcha lattes at home. I also recommend trying to make a matcha frappe by blending with some ice! Read more

Aki Foods Japan’s Matcha Latte Mix (2.2LB) delivers a creamy, café-style drink with just three ingredients: sugar, maltose, and matcha. The blend dissolves easily in hot or cold liquids and creates a vibrant green latte with no clumps. It’s sweet but not overpowering, and the maltose adds a silky texture that balances the green tea flavor. The bulk size is perfect for daily use or baking—think matcha cookies, cupcakes, or whipped cream. Great value for anyone who wants a quick, flavorful matcha fix without the fuss. Read more

I love matcha and try to have one everyday if possible. The taste isn't the highest quality, it does have that instant matcha taste but I can't complain because for how much mix you get, the value is is there. I like to use a little more mix than recommended for more flavor but I can't ever seen myself running out. This mix can also be blended up, I like to mix it up first then blend with ice and milk to get the best consistency. The color is also a pretty bright green, Read more

My expectations were pleasantly met, it works just like I had hoped it would. This is quite tasty matcha latte powder. The price point is a lower than competing products, but the quality is great and I have no real issues with it. Quite a nice value, I would order it again. Read more

Matcha purists, avert your eyes. This isn’t meant for ceremonial-grade experiences—it’s more for DIY at-home lattes. If you’re someone who regularly orders a matcha latte or Frappuccino and wants to recreate the magic without the $$ price tag (or the mystery syrups), this sweetened matcha blend delivers. Smooth, balanced, and way less cloying than what you’d get at the coffee chain. ✨ What’s in it? Just three ingredients: • Sugar • Maltose • Matcha A quick note: Maltose is less sweet than table sugar and helps the matcha flavor come through more clearly—think “green tea forward” without the bitterness. It also improves the texture, helping prevent clumps and creating a slightly creamy mouthfeel, even without milk. That silky-smooth mixability is no accident! However, I do wish the label mentioned the source of the maltose (barley, wheat, corn, etc.). While it's generally considered a gluten-free ingredient, I'd feel better if I knew more. 🥄 Each serving is 40 calories, which is modest compared to the hundreds you’d easily rack up with a store-bought drink. This matcha latte mix is awesome. Normally when I order regular matcha I add sweeteners and vanilla to make a latte but this is perfect just mixed with milk. It dissolves easily and saves me a few steps in preparation, tastes good, and it's a huge bag that will last me a long time. Very happy with this drink mix! Read more

This is definitely a high-quality matcha latte mix! I’m no expert on matcha and not very picky, but this blend really stood out to me. The flavor is smooth, not too bitter, and has a rich, premium feel. Honestly, it’s one of the better mixes I’ve tried. One important note: this isn’t regular matcha powder — it’s a latte mix with sugar already added. The ingredients list sugar first, followed by maltose and matcha (green tea). As expected, there’s a fair amount of sugar, but it’s surprisingly well balanced and not overpowering or too sweet. For a pre-sweetened mix, I think it hits the right spot. The color is a lovely pale green with no visible clumps. The powder blends smoothly and evenly. When I prepare mine, I mix some with room temperature water, then add milk and froth it. It’s simple, but works perfectly for my occasional use at home. Overall, I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a tasty, high-quality matcha latte mix! Read more
