Wonderful, balanced matcha. Vibrant color, smooth texture. Nice but not overwhelming umami notes with perfectly balanced natural sweetness and earthiness. Will be an absolute go to from now on, as long as Amazon stocks it! I have tried every type and price range of Matcha I can get my hands in that's a good balance of quantity and value as a daily matcha drinker. This is really high quality and yummy ceremonial matcha with a pleasant nutty taste and just a hint of bitter notes. The color is vivid bright green and it froths up beautifully. The price when I bought it was very good but I see it's gone up quite a bit. Still I appreciate that you get 50 grams rather than 30 or 40. I recently did a taste test comparing this to Hayashiya Daichi and Ippodo Ummon. This was the lowest price by far and the brightest green and most flavorful! The one thing I wish is that it came in a tin for better preservation. It comes in a very thin cardboard box with a plastic pouch inside and both times I ordered it, the product box was crushed, making it unsuitable for gifting. Read more

I follow the dierections on the back and it taste good to me. the quality is good and it is packed well. I sweeting it with black sugar (raw sugar that still has molasis in it). If you like Matcha, then this will not disappoint. Read more

I use ceremonial grade matcha exclusively as a cold beverage, so I can't say what it's like as hot tea. It blends easily with room temperature water and it tastes great! I prepare a small glass pitcher's worth with room temp water and then refrigerate. The customer service was good. I will order again when i run out. Read more
