Great value faucet that installs easy and is stylish and unique.
The product arrived safe with good packaging. If your supply lines are 1/2” npt you’ll need adapters. This product comes with a small postcard that says if you need the 1/2” adapters, contact them at fdkwservice@163.com. The faucet comes with 22 inch supply lines. That’s what I measured from underneath the sink. Make sure you measure because these because they are not standard supply lines You can buy at the hardware store. Tools you’ll need or what I needed was a screwdriver to remove the old one a small crescent wrench to un tighten the supply lines and then tighten the new ones. I also had an old towel to catch any water spilled. I made sure to use some fluid film underneath the counter plate and under the faucet around the o ring to prevent corrosion. Search fluid film on Amazon. The installation was super easy. I think it took about a half hour to 45 minutes from start to finish. For the drain no plumbers putty is needed. It’s a silicone gasket that makes the seal. In my five minutes of experience with the faucet if you ran it at full throttle, there is some after spill once it’s shut off. But if you run it at half throttle, there is none. From the countertop surface to where the water spills out it is a height of 4 1/8” add the depth of your sink and that’s the area you have to wash your hands. I throttled my water using the shutoffs so as to not give the faucet full pressure. I think the faucet is a good value. Can you get parts for it locally on a Wednesday night before Thanksgiving? I doubt it, but that’s what you get with a $30 faucet. Read more
Modern waterfall design
This is a FDKW Matte Black Bathroom Faucets, Waterfall that feels sturdy and well-made. All the parts seem to be there for a smooth installation. I will be getting a plumber for the install. Setup should be straightforward. Pros: modern design, single handle, waterfall type faucet, metal parts. Cons: unsure about the quality of the black finish, hopefully it will not corrode quickly, requires very careful cleaning to avoid stripping the paint. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to and is a practical option for a black faucet with a modern design. Read more
