- Carbon (C) Matte is a matte finish black creme nail polish. It is soft and creamy, and opaque in 1-2 coats depending on the application. Use a good base and top (matte) coat to get more durability and longevity from your manicure! Because matte finishes are more permeable than glossy (they do not have a hard seal), they absorb colors and oils more readily. They will start to “lose” their matte finish over time so just refresh with another layer or a matte top coat to get full matte coverage again. All of our polishes are cruelty free, vegan and 5-free (free of camphor, toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) or formaldehyde resins.) It's a great matte color
The liquid is a bit more viscous than normal polish. Dries to a nice matte finish as advertised. Very happy with how its not shiny. Durability is amazing. No chips on the top finish after a week in an office job, just some expected fading at the edges. Read more
Great matte finish
The polish is very easy to apply; it’s similar to any other nail polish. It only takes one coat to cover the nail, and it dries to a matte finish pretty quickly. This is a pretty dark black, which looks great. I’ll definitely buy again. Read more
I like the matte-ness of this polish
I love that this is matte. It is VERY black. Only took 1 coat. However the very next day I already had chipping. This may just be my experience. May be due to the structure of my nails. Or maybe would have less chipping if I did a second coat. I will experiment on future applications to see if I can’t get it to stick better as I do like this color. Read more
Best matte black polish imo
Matte black is such a hard color to find for nail polish but this one was really great, possibly my favorite matte black nail polish. It's solid black and isn't see through at all, and it sticks well and doesn't chip off super easy. Looks great. It's a little pricey for nail polish but it's the pink tax so whatever. It works. I purchased this after reading several reviews about durability and this was no lie. The nail polish goes on smooth and dries quickly to a complete matte finish. I used two coats and no top coat. It is very durable and has not chilled at all for several days. 10/10 would recommend! Read more

Amazing matte polish, immediately recommended to all my friends. Dries almost instantly, easy application, looks amazing. Cute lil thank you hand written in the receipt, which gives the impression of a small business - but the quality is amazing.
