These boots are a total win! They’re super comfortable and easy to walk in, even for long periods of time. The heel height is perfect — stylish without sacrificing comfort. They’re also fairly big-calf friendly, which is a huge plus! If your calves are on the fuller side like mine, you can slouch them a little bit, and they still look great and fit comfortably. I loved these boots in the photo but they’re a bit different in person. The gray is almost a purple taupe color. More of a brown gray. But gray is still accurate. Really if you mixed gray with dusty purple and brown. Taupe. Not a true gray, but a lovely color. The boots fit snugly. I got my usual boots size 7.5 and trying them on they fit my thin-socked foot like a glove. Knowing this I would have sized up to an 8, but these will do. I just can’t wear normal to thick socks with them. There is a half side zip on the inside of the ankles. The boots are a little wider at the top than expected. They look pretty straight up and down in the photo but they gradually widen as they go up. So they slouch considerably when you wear them. They’re nice boots just not exactly as I expected from the photo. I’m choosing three stars given the discrepancies between reality and expectation/description and given the slightly tighter than normal sizing. Nice boots otherwise. Read more
