Too Big, Inexpensive Looking Boots. Not for Me!
The listing made these boots look so much better than they do in person. Unlike other many faux-leather boots I’ve ordered, these look faux. There is nothing realistic about the material at all. It looks cheap, the stitching is just “meh,” and the overall quality feels low. They also run huge. I ordered my regular 8.5, but I easily could have gone down to an 8 or even a 7.5. While the inside is somewhat comfortable, they’re nowhere near as comfortable as other boots I’ve purchased in the last few months. I think the fit of these would go well for someone who has an extra large calf. I have large calves and would put these over jeans or pants, but I still have tons of space so these are extra wide. The heel is another disappointment. It’s a fake plastic “wood” that doesn’t even look convincing from a distance. The whole boot feels like something you’d find with a costume especially the inner lining, which has this hosiery cushioned inside. Aesthetically, they’re just not cute. Maybe they work for some people, but not for me. They look cheap, are poorly made, and fit far too big. The price seems to be too high for this boot. I would think 1/2 the price listed would be fair.
