After I installed the cover over the box spring, I rolled the ends over and taped them shut to get a good seal on the box spring and mattress. Stored the wrapped mattress set with other furniture in a storage unit that was NOT climate controlled for over a year. There are still no rips or tears after moving the furniture again, cover is easy to clean, just wipe down, then you can fold up and store or re-use.
