With that out of the way, the Atilioo 2-inch gel infused memory foam mattress topper is quite comfortable. It adds a little give to a harder mattress, and it breathes nicely. This type of foam compresses easily, so your core weight will crush it down flat, but your lighter parts will be pleasantly cradled. If you are a side sleeper, like me, this will help alleviate blocked blood flow to your hands, it allows your shoulder to sink in while your arm and head are supported. In many cases this will help with your posture, as it adds support to places like the small of your back, allowing the bed to conform to fit you, instead of forcing you to lay out on a completely flat surface. If I lay this mattress topper out on the floor and lay on it, my hip bone contacts the floor, as does the main point of my shoulder, but the rest of my body is held up by the foam. I like the overall comfort and quality of life that this mattress topper provides. However, I decided to only give it 4 stars because my other toppers, of the exact same size and materials, provide a bit more squish resistance, they hold you up a little higher and support a little bit better. The Atilioo mattress is just a little too soft to support my weight. Also, the foam material of the Atilioo mattress topper is a rougher feeling cellular structure that appears to tear easily. With this topper in place underneath your sheets, these will not be a problem, but direct contact with the foam is a bit uncomfortable, and you'll need to be careful with it when moving/storing it. There's a noticeable difference with this on the bed. We got this for my daughter who doesn't weigh a lot. The foam seems more liek regular foam than memory foam that has/holds more shape. I would not be using this without the CertiPUR certification, so that's a big plus for us. She loves how comfy her bed is now. Read more

Purchased this topper to help my children be more comfortable when we are out in our travel trailer. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new mattress that doesnt get used daily, and what the travel trailer comes with is equivalent to laying on the thin patio furniture pads. This mattress topper, while thin, was the perfect addition to help the kids be more comfortable. It is very squishy, and as an adult laying on it on a hard floor at 220lbs I completely compress it flat, but for my kids it works perfectly with their sleeping pads that the travel trailer has. It seems to work better for them and provide more comfort being under the original matress in the travel trailer instead of being on top, I think that is due to the original mattress helping to distribute the weight a little better. Opinions may differ, and obviously this was a different use then people putting it on top of a normal mattress, but for this application it worked well. -1 Star because it is not very dense. Had it been a little more dense I think it would of worked great on top of the original mattress in the travel trailer.
