Is firm but very comfortable. Has been great to sleep on and has helped with my back and shoulder pain. Would recommed.Great value and quality. The comfort of my bed is amazing. The foam has a great balance of comfort and support, and I sleep noticeably cooler. Excellent quality for the price — definitely worth it! Read more

This topper added a nice layer of cushion to our mattress without feeling too soft. The slow rebound feel helps with pressure points and I wake up less stiff. The cooling gel is subtle but it does not trap heat the way some foam pads do. It laid flat quickly and fit the queen bed well with our sheets. The foam feels solid and has held its shape after regular use. Overall it has been a practical, comfortable upgrade for the price. Read more

Good quality memory foam mattress, cool gel feeling, general memory foam quality and function. Fit well for my kid’s queen bed. Most important is no unpleasant smells at all. Will recommend to friends. Read more

This topper is what it is advertised to be: 3 inches of memory foam. It's pretty soft. The areas where my weight is focused (backside, hip, shoulders) sink, but what doesn't sink is well supported. The guest bed is an extra firm mattress. I prefer a medium soft mattress, so I considered it unusable. This mattress topper makes it comfortable. I've been able to sleep on it and not ache afterward. I'm under 140 lbs. I don't think it'll be as supportive for someone heavier. If you're more than 150lbs you probably want a topper that has more firmness AND a heavier foam density (for durability). I got the full size and it is exactly the dimensions it's supposed to be. For the price, this is a good value. Remember, this is a lower cost option so there's bound to be a weakness. The weight/density of the foam. It's on the light side, somewhere near 2 lbs per square foot. Why is this a "weakness"? A lower foam density will mean lower life cycle. If you sleep on this topper often, it will lose it's firmness and ability to rebound in a shorter time. For me, it being on a guest bed that is not used as often, it's not a problem. For reference on the durability differences, note the typical mfg warranty on 2lbs foam is 3 years. For 3lb foam it's typically 10 years. This doesn't mean that 2lb foam only lasts 3 years, it just means that what the manufacture will warrant. It will typically last longer than that. Read more

I recently placed this Novilla mattress topper on my queen bed and my sleep quality has improved noticeably. The 2-inch cooling gel-infused memory foam strikes the perfect balance: it’s soft enough to cushion and relieve pressure, yet firm enough to support hips and lower back. The slow-rebound foam feels luxurious and adapts to my body’s shape. Setup was hassle-free — unboxed, unrolled, and within a few hours it was ready. The topper didn’t retain heat like my old one; the cooling gel and ventilation holes keep things comfortable through the night. Even after several nights, the foam holds its shape well. I’m glad I found this — it truly “breathes new life” into my mattress without the need to replace the whole thing. Read more

I bought this topper for a sleeper sofa that my brother-in-law swore was “fine.” He lied. Boldly. After one night on that thing, my back filed a formal complaint. Two inches doesn’t sound like much, but neither does “two inches of gel-infused magic.” I slept through the night, woke up pain-free, and briefly forgot I was in a living room next to a lamp from 2003. NOTE: I put the topper on the top, above the mattress, unlike some ppl who suggest adding it on the bottom. Makes no sense to me. My girlfriend tried it once and now keeps asking when we’re “upgrading” our real mattress. Highly recommend if you like comfort, sleep, or not resenting your relatives Read more

I bought this for my guest bedroom & has been used 3 times by 3 people & nobody slept well. For me personally, I would give it 1 star bc it hurt my back & hip after just watching tv for a couple hrs. on it. My daughter & son in law came for a weekend & they only stayed one night. :( It’s quite firm & seems fine at first but you, rather slowly, sink way down in it & it holds the shape of your body for quite awhile before returning back to normal. As far as the cooling ability, I can’t say. Nobody mentioned that it was hot, so that may be the only positive. Needless to say, I had to buy a different topper. I have to mention that the mattress was a new Tuft & Needle Kin as well & it’s a very firm, rather hard, mattress, nothing like the Nod that they used to sell. So that’s at least part of the blame. (Thus the 3 stars instead of 1) But none of us liked the “squishiness” of this topper. The new topper has made the bed more comfortable but it will eventually be replaced as well. Read more

My son loves it, and the best part is there was no smell like others we have gotten in the past. 2” is a good thickness, 3” would have been better to be more like a pillow top. Seems breathable, good quality, and thick. Rating would have been a 5 but the pad took 4 days to expand fully, we keep the house on the cool side and it was in the basement. I recommend putting in a warmer room to expand quicker. Read more
