Hard drive worked great! There is one small caveat; however, the case has a raised section that makes the drive fit tightly in a Synology drive cage. Other than that it's an excellent value for the money Read more

Initialized as GPT Formatted Changed BIOS settings to UEFI Installed win10 no problem Let's hope this hard drive doesn't go bad. Crossing fingers. Read more

Absolute Garbage, Stay Away, 33% were Dead on Arrival
We bought 18 of these hard drives, six of them were bad right out of the box. Squeaking, clicking, beeping, causing my NVR's not to boot up until these drives were removed. I will probably have to go replace the rest of these drives at some point in the near future, costing me more in travel and time. Read more
So far so good...
I've been running these drives in a RAID-6 array and so far they have been great. These drives are a great price for a large HDD but keep in mind that these are "Renewed" drives, as such they have been recertifed to factory specifications, but they are used. So for drives that are not mission critical these are a great deal but if you need the full 5 year warranty that would normally come with an enterprise device get a factory sealed drive but for price these are a great option! I ordered two 8TB drives from this seller. These drives were advertised as having less than 100 bad sectors, however one had >120k and the other had >47k and reported as failing. Read more
