Maxine of Hollywood Womens 2-Tiered Ruffle Tankini Swimsuit Top

I love this top; it's beautiful, comfy and flattering! I ordered a 1x (size 14?) and it fits perfectly! So the 1x is misleading! Maxine of Hollywood's products are well made. I love this top.. although I have to say that I needed the 18... The cups are not quite big enough for me. However, it is a very flattering cut and style for a lot of different body styles. It's fairly loose on the bottom portion of the top and I think it's a bit longer than shown in the photo. The straps are adjustable. Could be worn with some capri pants I think. Not too low in the front, although there is a little cleavage visible if that matters to you. If you're not as full chested, probably won't be much. Machine wash and tumbled dry beautifully. I normally buy my swimsuits at Boscov's, a local department store, which carries the Maxine brand. However, I didn't hesitate to order on Amazon since I know how well these swimsuits are made. I am 5'7" and 225 lbs and ordered an 18W in the Multi/sunset color. I love how well this covers and feels. It is the perfect accompaniment to the Maxine's boardshorts. I have had this tiered style of tankini in the past from another company and loved it. I believe I ordered the correct size, but at only 5'4" and a short trunk, this tankini top was much too short for a tankini styled to hide imperfections. I quickly returned it. Read more

I love Maxine of Hollywood swimwear but this top is not high quality. I was disappointed that the seams on the top are not flat and are extremely uncomfortable. They rub and irritate my skin. The fabric is also much thinner than other swimwear from Maxine. I already had brought the top on vacation and didn’t end up wearing it because it was so irritating. I wouldn’t recommend this top.
