When I stopped eating gluten I noticed I was having a skin reaction to traditional store bought pads. I found this brand and ordered directly from Maxim off and on for the past 10+ years. Occasionally I try another brand but I always find myself going back to these. I like that they're cotton and not bleached. I feel like the silver ion seems to trap odor. For a cotton pad they seem well designed and don't come apart when I'm wearing them like some other natural pads do. Because they're all natural cotton, they aren't super absorbent like the chemical filled ones. But they have a nice absorbency and come in multiple sizes for the same price. I'm excited to be able to order them on Amazon. Maxim Hygine also offer a cotton thick puffy pad without wings. I'm not sure if that is available through Amazon or not, but I don't frequently use them. Read more
