Awesome little scale.

SuperBoppyNovember 27, 2025

If you need a mg scale, this is a great one, especially for the price. It takes 2-AAA batteries, no coin or other special batteries required. It also comes with its own 20g weights to calibrate it - a rare thing. Very accurate, since it calibrates near mid and max capacity. Well thought out. Has a wind screen that covers the entire weighing area. Good for where you might have drafts that could throw the scale off. 0.001g is crazy small. You can probably weigh individual grains of sand with this thing. I got this scale mainly for mixing my own supplement solutions for my aquariums. Really impressed with this scale. Easy to use, read, calibrate. Couldn't as for anything more, except perhaps for a carrying case, but save the box with the inside trays and it will do. Read more

Great for measuring out medicines

Tori ValJanuary 1, 2026

I have very light weight pills that I need to crush and take several times a day. When I am on the go, it can be very irritating to carry around the pill bottle, a pill crusher, and all my other necessities. I bought this so I could pre weigh, bulk pre crush a few, and package them for easier on the go use and this scale works great for that. It is able to accurately measure the weight of the pill that my other food scales could not detect. Overall it’s a great small scale for measuring small things. Read more

Decent miligram scale

Helping HandNovember 16, 2025

Excellent milligram scale. It’s pretty dang accurate and the price is amazing. I would be careful with getting a milligram scale on Amazon or for like super discounted. Originally I bought the wrong scale and I needed to find one that could measure fine powders and supplements for making my own vitamins by buying the powder bulk. And it’s really important that I get an accurate reading otherwise I could get sick so this stuff has worked pretty well for me so far. I find it fairly accurate. It’s compact. It’s got a little measuring tray and a little spoon. It’s got me measuring weights and tweezers. I know that there’s like 1,000,000 mg scales on Amazon, but this stuff is pretty good and the price is low. I don’t know how long it’ll last me, but it came with batteries too, which I love that. Saves me a trip Read more

Great offering, although not perfect- it gets the job done well

J ElsteinNovember 9, 2025

Can't argue with a digital scale that is accurate to the nearest milligram for under $20. The USB type C power option is also a top notch feature! It would be nice if the lid was a little more secure and not so easy to break in storage, but at this price point, the fact that it has a lid at all is surprising. Read more

Great scale for the price.

DAFJanuary 3, 2026

The scale works very well for measuring small amounts of vitamins and supplements. Note that while it reads to .001 g, the standard accuracy is +\- 0.005g (5 mg). This is accurate enough for my use and it does seem to have an actual tighter accuracy. Its compact size makes it easy to store. Read more

Review Of Digital Scale

ajustesMay 31, 2025

The MAXUS Digital Milligram Scale 50g/0.001g is a solid and compact scale that's easy to use and comes with useful accessories like two 20g calibration weights. It's great for small measurements, especially for reloading or precise powder weighing. However, the weights provided seem to be slightly off when double-checked with other calibrated tools, so I recommend verifying accuracy with your own trusted weights. Overall, it’s still a good value for the price. Read more

Works perfect with a little trick

honeykissSeptember 7, 2025

Works perfectly for what I need which is measuring 50 mg of powder. One of the reviewers noted that if you start from zero and add just a little bit of weight or add weight too slowly it can float back down to zero, but if you put some significant weight on it you can then add slowly and it won't go back to zero. So to accomplish this I just always turn it on and once it reads zero and put the little black bowl that comes with it on the scale and then it always reads 5.030 grams and it's pretty darn consistent every time I put the bowl on down to a couple of milligrams without having to calibrate it ever. Then I just had my 50 g of powder till it reads 5.080 and I'm good to go. I feel very confident in the accuracy and repeatability and it just takes that little bit of a jimmy rig trick but it works great for a simple task like that which is exactly what I needed for a good low price. The reviewer said if you put the bowl or some other weight on and then press tare you still running to the same problem of drifting back down to zero, so you have to start from zero then put the bowl on then just do the math from there. I haven't tested this of whether or not it will float back down to zero, I just took their word for it and it works perfectly by using the method I described and which the reviewer noted. Read more
