Can’t beat these light bulbs. Impressed with the brightness and the sunlight like color temperature of these bulbs. They do not buzz. Great replacements for incandescent bulbs. They will save you money in the long run as well. They look very much like a regular incandescent bulb but put out a lot of light for much less energy. Recommended! Read more
I got them in and they are bright white and they are very light in weight. At first I didn't think the LED power supply was in the base but they obviously are. They work well and give off a good amount of light. I wouldn't want one of these in a desk lamp since it would be too bright but for overhead lighting they work well. The problem with LED lights is that the LED doesn't burn out, the DC power supply does. So when they claim the LED Bulb lasts 50,000 to 100,000 hours that may be true, but what about the power supply that makes the bulb light. Who knows. They make LED bulbs that are not Daylight Bright. The ones that have the brightness similar to the good old incandescents that we grew up with are called soft white or Relaxed white or some different name to indicate that are not real bright and have a yellowish tint to it. Daylight Bright means Wammo bright white. So try to pick the correct ones so you don't have to return them and be dissatisfied. Read more
They are about 50 cents cheaper that the cheapest you can buy in the store. They are true 5000k but they do not seem to be 1500 lumens. They do not seem that bright. They seem more like 1200 or maybe even a little less. Still would buy them again. Read more
We just moved into a new house, and the previous owners had removed at least one bulb from every multi-bulb light or fan fixture. The remaining bulbs were the 40W equivalent (5.5W/450 Lumen) 2700K color (yellow/warm). We felt like we were walking around in a cave with dying flashlight batteries. These 13W (1500 Lumen/100W equivalent) 5000K color (Bright White) LED bulbs made it so we could see again. Every bulb of the 20 we installed worked as expected. These bulbs are not quite suitable for hydroponic grow lights (6000K+ color required), but they are great for inside-the-house human navigation. The bulbs come in a single package with cardboard cutouts to hold them in place. This packaging is likely not the best for rough handling or long-term storage, but it was adequate for the short Amazon shipping our bulbs underwent. The bases are the standard US lamp base that we all know and love. The LED bulbs are not dimmable, so use them only in on-off lamps. They are not 3-way bulbs. I will update this review if longevity or other operational problems evidence themselves over time. Read more
