Please note that this item needs a few days to air out before you will want to use it. The foam needs time to expand since it is compressed for shipping. There is also a fairly strong chemical odor left from the manufacturing processes. That did improve after a couple days. At first, when I unpacked the topper, I thought they sent me a twin topper. The topper was folded in half, lengthwise and vacuum sealed. When the plastic was removed with the handy cutter included, it was clear that I got the full size topper. After it was unfolded and aired out for about 24 hrs, the common odor found in all toppers were almost gone. The size fit the mattress well. It was soft to the touch but it felt perfectly medium as I layer on it. Had a great night sleep and did not sink in too much into the topper. The 2-star rating has nothing to do with the quality, company, or service. The topper is well-made, environmentally friendly, and a good value for the price. Delivery was smooth and everything arrived as expected. 5 stars. Unfortunately, I can’t use it. The topper simply doesn’t offer enough support, and there isn’t much separation of movement. For example, while eating dinner, my cat walked past just 3 inches (~7 cm) away and it caused a glass to fall over. I can’t say if this is due to the topper itself or some incompatibility with my mattress, but it isn’t a good fit for me. I really wanted to like this mattress pad, but it just didn’t live up to the description. It had a strong odor right out of the package, and it was not supportive at all — it flattened quickly and offered no real comfort. Even though it’s labeled as “bamboo,” it actually made me sleep too warm, which was the opposite of what I expected. To make things worse, returning it was a hassle. It was extremely difficult to fit back into the box for return shipping, and took quite a bit of struggling to make it work. I did manage to return it in the end, and purchased a different mattress pad to replace it — which has thankfully been a much better experience. Overall, I do not recommend this one. Read more

The firm side to me is very firm but my wife says it's just right. I may have to cut it in half and use the softer side for me. It does sleep warm even with the vent holes but with that said we have a waterproof 1-1/2" Bamboo topper and a padded quilt topper on top of the memory foam mattress. All in all we are very happy with this topper. It is for our RV. Special note : If you ever need to trim or cut a foam mattress use an eclectic kitchen knife. It cuts it like butter. Read more

I purchased this for use on my twin sleeper chair. I roll it up when not in use. It has made the sleeper chair extremely comfortable to sleep on now. I find it to be worth every penny and would gladly purchase a new one regularly. Read more
