This is super comfortable! I put this on top of a Firm mattress to add a little layer of smooshy comfort. I am a hot sleeper and this keeps me a lot cooler than my old pillow top. Unpacked and expanded easily, and only took a couple days for the new foam smell to go away -- it did not smell bad, just new. The topper was true to size and lines up perfectly with my foam mattress. Value and Quality: I priced a number of these out and compared the features, and landed on this one - I would definitely buy again, but I don't think I'll ever wear it out. This mattress topper (4") is wonderful. We purchased for our RV queen 60x80 bed. It fit perfectly and with in 24 hours was full expanded. There is very little smell to the mattress topper but for the little smell it did have we let it air out for a couple of days before putting the bed linen on it. Very comfortable and well made. I wanted to give this 5 stars because the topper is amazing especially for the affordable price. The actual topper itself is everything I wanted. I got the 4” topper and it’s giving 4” that’s for sure ! I saw a couple reviews saying it has a strong chemical smell but thought well it has a bunch of other great reviews maybe those customers were just sensitive to smells or something and took my chances. Well take it from me it does have a VERY STRONG chemical smell and I’m a cheapskate so normally I’d make do if it was a light smell I’d get over it but it’s strong . There is no possible way to find out if it has a chemical smell or how bad it is unless you take your chances and smell it but once you open it you’re screwed because it starts expanding . Tried to return but amazon said I had to bring to the UPS store WITH THE BOX! I had to email customer support because there was no way to get it back in the box . End of story customer service resolved my issue but just wanted to let others know I thought the chemical smell wouldn’t be that bad but no the other reviews are right it’s a very very strong smell . Update : it’s been about a week now and the topper even with my mattress pad sheet on top and a bunch of dryer sheets stuffed in between I do still get whiffs of the smell . It’s not as bad as it was but I have to admit the topper is pretty amazing regarding everything else. The 4” thickness is on point ! It’s firm but not too firm . It gives that memory foam mattress feel. My new mattress was a little firmer than I expected and I was used to using a memory foam topper on my old mattress so I do like the memory foam feel. I added another star to my original review because the topper other than the smell is on F’kn point ! Just wish the smell wasn’t so bad . Would I buy it again I’m not sure . I might tbh . the smell is ungodly strong and pretty rough at first but it gets more bearable over time (I think) it still has a smell now but no where near as bad as the first few days even after letting it air in my room with the windows open and fan on high , So idk I guess use your best judgement and hope this review helps someone. Overall the functionality of the products is 10 stars in my book but the smell is rough ngl. I bought this to use in my roof top tent. Used a foam cutter to cut it down to size and shoved it in there. Very comfortable for the thickness firm enough with just a touch of plush. Breaths well and although I haven’t slept on it every night like a conventional bed it is very nice when I do. I can’t speak for its size, or fit, but i can speak to its quality. I actually use the cut off piece in my shop when kneeling down or sliding under a car to service it. I’ve drug that piece of foam all over that concrete laying tools on it, wading it up, running over it and it just bounces right back to the way it was. I’ve been torturing that foam for a good 6 months and it just doesn’t care. So unless you run your bed over repeatedly with your car or truck I really don’t think you’re going to wear this out any time soon. Read more
Wow! Used this to make patio cushions! Game changer! Have you priced cushions recently? Used an electric kitchen knife to cut to size!! Cuts like butter! After enjoying a new mattress for some years, it seemed off. So, I got this Maxzzz mattress topper. AT FIRST i loved the 2 layers and firm feel. A couple of days later it smelled so bad with a strong chemical smell I had to change my sheets 2 times. washing the sheets could not get the smell out! It is NOT memory foam! There is no indentation that slowly comes back. both sides are regular foam with the gray side being a firmer foam than the blue. I called amazon and they said to return it I had to put it in a box and bring it to UPS. HOW ON EARTH? The thing was like those expanding dinosaurs! Once the genie was out of the bottle it was not going back in! They offered me a $23.99 refund which was better than nothing but I had to throw it out it smelled so horrible and haunted me by lingering on my sheets =( Read more
I've tried out several mattress toppers, this one is wonderful! I love that it's reversible. It's extremely comfortable and not hot. It's expensive but I think it's well worth it, our guests always compliment on the cozy bed and I think it's because of this! Read more
