Pretty good. Smooth, even, good color, lasts longer than others. All in all I’ll be back for more. I have sensitive eyes so a lot of eyeliner’s and mascara’s can get itchy. This one does not. Putting it on the favorites list! Does smudge a little so I have to keep an eye on my under eye but all in all a great product for the price. Read more
A friend of mine recently commented on my eyeliner, saying she wished hers looked like mine. She got tired of dealing with eyeliner every day and got hers tattooed on. She likes hers, but thought mine looked better. I told her mine takes 2 seconds and turns out the same every day. This is a great product. I started using it years ago when my dermatologist had me shop for products that didn't include ingredients that would cause me irritation. I've had no issues using this. It is so easy to use and I love that it is waterproof. The eyeliner is a smooth crayon-like product that you simply swipe on. It goes on easily. I usually give it a little smudge with my finger, then leave it alone and it stays put. It is easy to remove. With a little makeup cleaner it comes right off. There's no need to sharpen the pencil. Rarely have I had the eyeliner stick in the pencil break, even though my eyeliner pencil gets treated roughly though my extensive travels. The pencil lasts a long time for me. I'm so glad Maybelline continues to make this excellent product available. Read more

This is probably my favorite inexpensive eyeliner. I have purchased this in Expresso multiple times . It goes on pretty smooth , stays in place and doesn’t crease in upper eyelid. Senior ladies take note . Read more
Reads as a black once applied. Unless it's right next to actual black, it's going to look less like brown and more black. For my purposes I need a dark/medium brown - less aging than this dark dark brown. Haven't used it to comment much further, but it does go on smoothly - soft but not too soft. Read more
I have this eyeliner on subscription. It comes in a two pack and they last a long time (months) and I use it daily. I use the espresso color which is a rich dark brown. Goes on soft and easy. Only note would be if you tend to rub your eyes a lot throughout the day it will come off but this hasn’t been a problem for me. I usually carry one with me and this happens I just reapplied. Just the right amount of softness to apply along the eyelash line without trauma to eyelid. I use one shade lighter than my eyelash color to avoid looking like a street performer. A lighter line looks more natural. Was pleased with how long the line was maintained, but did require makeup remover to remove residual after soap and water washing. Not having to sharpen it was a plus. Cannot yet comment on longevity. Read more
