Knifes are sharp and comfortable to handling them for cooking purposes of course. I used all on e and have no reference. Knives come sharp and are of good quality. The steak knives are serrated and I prefer non serrated. The built in sharpener is a nice feature but likely wouldn't work with the steak knives. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Really nice set! Lightweight and balanced, love the way the steak knives look on a well-dressed table setting. NO screws or wooden handles to detach or warp; the scissors are REALLY functional when cutting through chicken pieces/bones, stew meat, etc. The wood block looks spiffy on my countertop too!
