Shaves as well as my Gillete Old Type in a more disposable package. I would rate the blade exposure as a bit more on the aggressive side, so you can get irritation if you shave with too much hand pressure. Like any double edge razor, it's more about finding the right angle and learning to skew your cut on tough spots. I have thick, coarse hair that I find shaves best when wet. If you follow shave enthusiasts at Badger/Blade, you'll know about the benefits and luxury of wet shaving with real shaving cream. When I do that, I like the heft and luxury of the brass Gillette Old Type or my Merkur. However, I get the same shave from using this Medline toward the end of a shower with a bit of soap for glide, and it fits into a fast-paced routine better that way. I don't feel bad about leaving one of these wet on the shower counter since they are so cheap and there's no metal to tarnish. A sharp tap of the edge against the palm releases any trapped hairs. The blades seem to hold up fine even used that way. Read more
What can you say about a disposable double edge razor to say how much you enjoy it? While it may be blue plastic it's not flimsy. The blade is sharp and it works well for shaving my pesky neck beard of which my wife is not a fan. I like to keep a short beard but my wife can't stand that space between my chin and my collarbone being covered in scraggly hair. These razors give me a sharp edge to work with to get a straight line just below my jaw line. Works much better than a sharpened rock or multi blade razors I consider to be pieces of garbage. Would also choose these over a regular straight razor as I prefer to keep my jugular veins intact. At a cost of less than $30 for 100 it's a deal you definitely can't find in store for a quality product to keep you looking spiffy. If you need razors buy these. Also, I work in an OR and although most shave prep is now done with an electric razor we do use these occasionally but mostly for a scrotal shave. Enjoy that thought. I've never had any problem with them when using on my face. Read more

These as so much better than those expensive brand-named disposable razors. They stay sharp longer, so you don't have to throw them away after each use. I use them to shave under my arms, touch up the few stray hairs on my legs and bikini line. I've tossed those electric shavers as the replacement blades don't last long and are expensive. I don't expect to buy another blade for a year or two. Just be careful as these blades are very sharp, but worth it. Wet or dry, whatever you prefer. They don't rust as fast either. Read more
That's a good item. It's a one shot-killing-two-birds thing because you get the razor-jacket plus the razor and it work unlike the current plastic razor that you must dispose of after use because they become blunt after just one unfinished shaving and you can keep using the jacket with other razor Read more
