The shape of the umbrella canopy with the curved edges is so unique and fun. My daughter loves it. She also likes that the color stands out from the sea of black umbrellas everyone else is using. Kids can be a bit careless with holding umbrellas. I'm always wary of a tip poking me in the eye. The rounded tips are genius. More manufacturers should make rounded tips for safety. Push button auto open, auto close. The tie strap has a metal snap to keep it closed during storage. NOT cheap velcro like other umbrellas. There is a thin reflective strip along the edge of the canopy. Nice little detail there. Be aware, this umbrella is not a windproof double-canopy umbrella. The umbrella also doesn't lock into place when fully opened, don't know if this counts as a strength or a weakness. Read more

I bought this for my daughter who is super hard on things and has tore up a few of the metal ones already and was wanting something a little more sturdy. Avoid if you are looking for one made with fiberglass ribs! Read more
I really wanted to love this umbrella with covered tips, but it was way too heavy and I know I’d not want to carry this umbrella though it’s a foldable and portable umbrella. The textile is thick and it was quite hard to wrap it around to snap the button on, then it’s also hard to put it back in the bag due to the thickness. Besides it squeaks and really slow to open.
