The best purchase we’ve made. It was a hit for Christmas! 7 and 2 year old girls have loved it and played with it daily for almost 2 months. They play together and it’s a fun toy for parents to play with too because there’s structure and an objective while still imagining. The quality seems good! In general, my 6 YO grandson and 2 YO granddaughter adore this brand of wooden toys. I love them because they are very well made and meant to pass on to multiple generations. This set in particular is amazing. What is so special about this set, compared to their other sets, is its complexity. There are so many different types of pieces that allow imagination to run wild and entice kids of different ages. The ice cream stand itself is extremely well designed with all kinds of cool storage options for the products. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but worth it if generational wooden toys are your jam. Don’t be tempted to get a cheaper set with less pieces. All the pieces are what make it so fun! From waffle cones to sprinkles- it’s all there. If you like this brand of wooden toys, you will absolutely adore this set! We have had this for several years now. It is made, as all Melissa and Doug toys are, VERY WELL. Heavy wood. Pieces are adorable. This comes with EVERYTHING. My daughter plays with this CONSTANTLY. Some toys just sit and they play with them once and then get forgotten. When friends come over, the Ice cream shop is the first thing they want to play with. You even get a little wooden credit card, an ordering sheet, and I love that for the soft serve, you can pull it apart to be either vanilla, chocolate or swirl.
