I have one of the other MelodySusie nail drills that requires staying plugged in. It's almost exactly like this one, but without the rechargeable part. I really like it, but was excited when this one came out; it gives me the availability to not have to be right next to a power supply. This has the option to be charged (with a USB-C cable) or used with a power cord. I like that it gives you both options, in case you don't have time to wait for it to charge. If you use it as a plugged in version, it comes with a clip that you can add to it; it can't be used when the rechargeable section is plugged in. I wish that it could be used no matter which way you went with it, because that's a handy way for me to set it aside, to clip it to my cupholder. It's a small thing though, and not worth deducting any stars. It charges up pretty fast. The controls are easy to figure out and use. The drill is solid and performs well, it also comes with some starter nibs, though I'll use the ceramic ones that I prefer that I own. It comes with a carrying pouch/case. The drill itself is pretty quiet, it's definitely less noisy than ones I've owned in the past from other companies. It's easy to hold in your hand. With the rechargeable piece in place, it's nicely posted, with the weight evenly distributed. It's seriously like holding one of my favorite fountain pens - a little bit of weight. The speed of it is sufficient for someone like me, a beginner-intermediate. And furthermore, the color is pretty cute! All in all, this is a great drill from MelodySusie. Read more
