I got the milky white color. I want to preface this with saying that I’ve been painting and taking care of my nails for years, but I’m fairly new to gel polish. So the polish is alright. In the photos, that’s about 3 coats of the gel polish. I have tried it 4 times now and have experimented with new methods, because the polish is just really streaky. I’ve tried really thin layers, I’ve tried a thick layer, I’ve tried a mixture of thin and thick. I haven’t had this streak issue with other polishes but maybe that’s because this is the first milky/sheer gel polish I’ve tried. Also, removing it is pretty tough. You’ll see in the photos I messed up my cuticle area trying to file it off the 3rd time. That’s because soaking it off was way more difficult than other gel polishes I’ve tried. It didn’t just flake off after soaking in acetone like other gels. I had to actually scrape at it and I damaged my nail on a couple of fingers while trying to remove it. I even came back to this Amazon page to see if I misread that it claimed it was soak off gel. In summary, it looks alright if you have the right technique to get it to look smooth and silky. It’s also hard to soak off but if you file your gel off, I guess that shouldn’t matter much. Read more
