Solid gloves

I bought these for a late-winter snowboarding trip to Western NY, and these gloves did not disappoint. In low 30s night weather the gloves felt comfortably warm, not to hot or cold. They seem to be built of good quality. I have not had the chance to torture-test them in extreme cold conditions yet or see how they last over time, though they seem good so far. I would recommend getting the largest size if you have big hands; my hands are moderately big and I got XL; I would not have wanted to go any smaller. Read more

I have now worn these skiing in conditions from near zero Fahrenheit to above freezing. In the range I've experienced, they are better in the very cold, particularly with hand warmers in the zipper pockets. The gray fabric is very nice and they seem well designed and assembled. On my one day skiing at just above freezing and snowing/raining, they got very wet very quickly (although at that temperature my hands never got cold even with the wet gloves) they dried quickly enough and don't seem to make my hands sweaty. Good gloves for the money. I'll try spraying them with waterproofing spray if I ever ski in horrible spring conditions again. Read more
