This particular shorts are pretty nice for those who want to have a bit more free flowing. I have worn these to train for the marathon or for tennis practice. I can easily move around in these without issue. The stitches are nicely done so you do not have to worry about fraying or holes. The size fits just fine which is great. The shorts are made of pretty water resistant material and does not really stick to your skin if you are to sweat too much. That being said it does retain the smell so I recommend wash after every work out if that is what you are using it for. It does come with small pockets with zippers. These really help as most phones these days from what I can see the phone can easily. This shorts actually does fix the problem with zippers so you do not have to worry about your phone falling out. The zipper is not bad quality just do not get it caught on the fabric. It it okay to machine wash and dry. There is not real shrink issues. The design works well for everyday work out or even just casual wear at home. It really allows for good airflow for faster cool off whenever needed. I have a 40 inch waist and these shorts in 2XL fit snugly. Comfortable, quick dry fabric. Well made but the double inner liner is just plain odd and that makes them not as comfortable. After a few weeks of training with these shorts, hubby claims he's not going back to his old basketball-style shorts again. The inner lining makes all the difference both in terms of comfort, reducing friction, and keeping cool. The nice thing about this pair of shorts is that the side pockets are unzippered while the back is. This allows you do to a fair amount of stretching, relaxing, etc. without having to worry about getting poked in the sides with a pair of zippers. The rear zipper is in the center of the short (which we love), so the zipper kind of stays within the small of the back and doesn't pose as much of a poking risk. Pockets are nice and deep and I don't feel like things will fall out. The center pocket in the back is great for a phone and hubby loves that it keeps things balanced, which is nice for a long run where you don't want one side of your shorts sagging. I am involved in a lot of different sports that require a lot of running. I normally stick to gym joggers, but in my area, it has gotten too hot to continue wearing them. I decided to give these shorts a try because others recommended the type of athletic shorts that have the extra light compression lining at their base. I tried it once and I can't go back. I'm a fairly skinny dude hovering about small-medium sizes for shorts in general. I didn't want them to be too loose, so I decided to go with small. You can see exactly how they fit in the pictures I've included. They were not tight at all but they were slightly shorter than I was initially expecting. Shorter gym shorts make my legs look longer, so I was pleased with the end result. These shorts are super comfortable and light. I’m going to switch to wearing this style of workout shorts exclusively. The compression inner lining is what completely sold me. Always hated how my boxers felt on me after doing an hour on the treadmill. Sweaty, sticky, just real uncomfortable. Not with wearing these men's 2 in 1 running shorts. Quick dry moisture wicking material is nice an airy without feeling cheap. They don’t shine when light hits them. Double stitching around the hem and pockets brings everything together nicely. Drawstring doesn’t feel like its strangling my waist when tightened. Design of these shorts are made for running, jumping, sliding… pretty much any movement done while playing sports or exercising. I’ve become a fan of running shorts with compression linings. Especially for long runs they help to prevent chafing. These shorts are very comfortable. The material is very soft, yet I don’t see any problems with durability. The shorts have two hand warmer pockets and a back zipper pocket on the center of the shorts. The back pocket is convenient for small items such as keys, earbud cases, or a credit card. It seems too small for most phones. The shorts are breathable and move without rubbing or chafing. They will work well for running , biking, or gym use. Mine fit a little tighter than expected but not uncomfortably so. If I could make one suggestion, I’d say make the hand pockets deeper. They aren’t shallow, but I’d add some depth to more securely hold keys and phones. Read more
