I do not know why anyone would use a notched-belt when these ratchet belts are the same price. You can tighten the belt to the exact millimeter you need and it releases with just a touch, and if you are losing weight the belt shrinks with your shrunken waist. You can easily cut the leather down to the length you want. The absence of notched holes, the leather does not wear out, meaning it does not look tattered and wear out/break after extended use.
