Not a bad winter coat

This is a nice and very warm coat. I wanted to wait until I really had a chance to test it against the bitter cold. It was 6 degrees out; I managed to stay nice and warm doing snow removal. The coat did what I wanted and needed it to do. Pics are for size and reference. I’m 6’ 1”, 178 lbs. The coat hangs about 7” below my butt. The sleeve length appears to be shorter in the pics than what it would be if my arms were hanging relaxed. The sleeves hang about 1” below my wrist covering just a little of my hand. There is a lot of room in the coat, so it could easily fit a heavier person. Downfalls or dislikes based on my personal preference or opinions. Not sure how long the material of the coat will last. Just doesn’t seem to be of a stronger material. It does not mean it won’t hold up. I just question the quality of the material. The zipper is not a heavy quality zipper. I can easily see it not holding up after wearing it several times. All my winter coats have zippers heavier duty than this. Would have expected a better zipper on a coat like this. If it had a heavier duty zipper, I believe it wouldn’t be as difficult zipping it up. The first few inches are a little complicated. This coat replaces my other big winter coat. It has a bigger, thicker, heavy-duty zipper. They both are about the same length. I don’t have any complications zipping it up. Wished it had a draw string inside above the waste to help keep from getting an updraft of cold air. Also wished it had Velcro flap covers over the pockets instead of a zipper. Again, these are downfalls or dislikes based on my personal preference or opinions. They do not mean this is a bad coat. Read more
