This polyester, pullover rain jacket is waterproof and also wind resistant. It fits into a small storage pouch, making it easily carried in a car or backpack for unexpected weather changes. I chose the size XL for my son, who is 5'9" tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He normally wears an XL, and this jacket easily went on over his regular clothes without feeling tight. The material is thin, with a coating that feels a bit plasticky, but it provides good protection from the elements. The hood extends outward over the face, a nice feature to keep rain from dripping down onto the face or glasses. The half zipper seems good quality, and can extend above the neck, keeping a barrier over the lower portion of the face if needed. It's a little awkward for those with a heavy, thick beard, but not uncomfortable. A drawstring can adjust the hood's fit even more. The sleeves are wrist length, with both elastic and a hook-and-loop closure to keep out the wind. The hem length hits below the hips, and also has cords on either side to tighten the material to decrease the effect of the wind. There are 2 long, slash pockets that are nice for warming the hands, but they don't have enough depth to hold important items securely. There is also a small, reflective strip on the back, close to the hemline, for added safety when walking or riding a bike in dark or rainy weather. When needed, this jacket should be hand washed and dried flat to help maintain the protective coating. Over all, it's well made, and performs as advertised. For the price, I think it's a very good value. Read more

Overall great deal for a good raincoat. I'm very impressed with this jacket for the price. I've paid way more for underwhelming raincoats. The color is just my style. I wear XL and that's what I ordered. If I had to do it again I would have gone up a size, as I usually wear this over a thick shirt of some kind and it's a bit of a tighter fit than I prefer, but in a pinch it works fine. Now do I like a pullover design, no I do not, but that's what I ordered and I knew it going in. With that being said, it's not as bad as I an anticipated. It goes on easier than I expected. The hood gives you lots of coverage in the rain, and it can be tightened up with a drawstring. The sleeves are a good length for me and the cuffs can be secured with velcro straps. The bottom even has a draws string. Waterproof is pretty legit and kept me dry underneath. It's more breathable than I thought it would be and can be used as a light windbreaker. Material and construction are impressive for this price point. The fact it can be rolled up and put in the included drawstring sack make this a mandatory item in my packing list. I just got off a cruise and would have loved to have this a couple of times. Read more

I ordered this jacket to throw in my suitcase when traveling, as invariably I'll end up stuck in the rain somewhere, wishing that I had one of these. My thoughts: - The quality is better than expected: it is quite thick and heavy enough to offer some warmth in a cold rain - It packs up quite nicely in the included drawstring bag - It runs quite large. I normally wear and I ordered an XL; this is probably closer to a XXL, and very loose on me - As I mentioned in the title, probably the biggest issue is trying to pull this off when it's wet. It's not the end of the world, but a zipper would certainly be preferable. Overall, I was impressed with the quality for the price, and this will live in my suitcase awaiting a rainy day while traveling. Read more

I wanted a dedicated rain jacket and thought it would be cool to try a pullover style instead of the typical full zip. I was a little concerned about the fit since I was wearing a sweatshirt underneath, but it actually fit perfectly fine and didn’t feel tight at all. There was still plenty of room to move comfortably. The jacket is lightweight, which I really appreciate. It doesn’t feel bulky, and it’s very breathable. I can move around easily in it, and it doesn’t trap heat. The sleeves are a good length, and nothing felt restrictive. The hood stays in place well, which is important in steady rain. Based on the material and how it’s constructed, I feel confident it will keep consistent rain out. It feels like a true rain layer rather than just a light windbreaker. One thing to note is that since it’s a pullover, it can be a little harder to put on compared to a full zip jacket. I had to be careful not to bump my glasses while pulling it over my head. That’s just part of the pullover design, though. The pockets are a great feature. I love having them to keep my hands warm, and they feel functional and well placed. Overall, this is a versatile jacket I would use for pretty much anything, from casual wear to running, hiking, or golf. It’s lightweight, breathable, and easy to layer, which makes it a solid addition to my outerwear. Read more

What a nice jacket! It fits great and is made of some very nice waterproof material - far better than my previous similarly priced raincoat. The coat includes a nice hoodie with two very strong pull strings. No worries there. The main zipper is well made and the stitching all around seems good enough. No fringing to be found. And lastly, the product arrives in a nice bag with its own pullstrings. It was very easy to fold up the coat and get it back in the pouch. Sometimes raincoats include pouches that are way too small. No problems with that here. I've included some rough measurements in my pictures. As a standard 175 pound, 5'9" person, the fit was fine. I will definitely be packing this for all of my future hikes. I am extremely disappointed with this jacket. The quality is horrible; it feels like wearing a thin plastic bag. While it might keep the rain off, it is definitely not a windbreaker. It feels exactly like those cheap plastic suits people wear to sweat while exercising. Save your money and buy something else. It’s more like a sauna suit for weight loss than outdoor gear Read more
