I recently picked up this lime green running tank as I needed more attire as the Texas heat is swiftly approaching. The first thing I noticed is how incredibly light it is, it almost feels like I'm not wearing a shirt at all, which is amazing. I have a pretty lean, athletic build (I added a picture to my review so you can see what I mean) and I think the cut of this tank is really flattering on my frame. To really put it to the test, I took it out for a 10-mile run and purposefully skipped any anti-chafe balm. I was bracing myself for the usual, but to my surprise, no chafing, no bleeding nipples – nothing! That alone makes this a huge win in my book. Now, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. This tank is definitely on the sheer side. If you're not comfortable with your nipples being visible, this might not be the one for you. Also, and I say this with no intention of body shaming, the way it's cut might accentuate a belly if you have one. If that's not a concern for you, then go for it! For hot weather running where going shirtless isn't an option, this is a fantastic choice. I'm really happy with it. Pros: Incredibly lightweight, barely feel it on. No chafing, even on a long run without anti-chafe cream. Flattering fit for skinny/athletic body types. Great for running in hot weather. Cons: Very see-through, nipples will be visible. May not be flattering for all body types; could accentuate a belly. Read more

These are fantastic for running. Very lightweight and very breathable. Quite comparable to name brands that cost much much more. The price is fair. When I got my first one (I now have 3) I picked it up and was surprised by just how light it really is. The fit is just right - not too loose, not at all tight. I wanted a well fitted, lightweight, breathable running tank/singlet that wouldn't feel immodest or leave most of my back exposed where I can't apply sunscreen on my own. This thing is exactly that. As a bonus, when I am soaked in sweat on a long run, this tank really does wick it away as much as anything could, and it ends up being a bit cooling. My only complaint - I wish it came in a whole lot more colors. Read more

Here in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley, I run about 25 miles a week, and in the summer if I'm not on the street by 6AM, it's already too hot, usually 80˚ before eight (I know, I know--we've got nothing on Houston or Miami, but heat's my Kryponite.) Ergo, I'm always looking for the perfect, minimal, silky thin running tank that I forget I'm wearing. The TLRUN tank ended my search, and I'm not buying anything else from here on out. In fact, now I resent the scads of others cluttering my running drawer. Synthetics are the coin of the running realm, and 100% polyester dries quickly and flows around you without sticking like cotton does. But the TLRUN goes a step beyond, and when they say super light, they aren't kidding. It's considerably lighter and silkier than my other polyester tanks; some might consider this a detractor, but for us hot weather pavement pounders, this is as close as it gets to wearing nothing, and that's what I want. It has a little give to it, it doesn't get see-through, and it isn't too long. I'm 5'10, a muscular 165, and the large fits me perfectly, with just a bit of space without tenting or chafing anywhere.* And sweat is relative to humidity--you can't blame a shirt when the air can't absorb your moisture. Again, in LA this usually isn't a problem, but the TLRUN isn't a 'wet' shirt by any means. It also has a durability to it, and it feels soft without feeling cheap. *Oh, for the fellas: nipples can chafe no matter what you wear. Doesn't often happen to me, but occasionally is still too much. The TLRUN is better than average about this, but I still put a piece of silicon tape over the little guys to keep 'em from hollering. I'm delighted by this tank, and I'm a bit of a running snob (OK, maybe more than a bit.) I now have three of them. If you're satisfied with the big brand cotton blend running shirts, fine. Yucka, I say. I deserve better, and so do you. Give the TLRUN a go. Betcha you'll scowl at your other ones too. (Hey TLRUN- you guys gonna make socks?) Read more

Great value for a running tank! It is super lightweight and almost mesh-like, but not see-through. The colors are very bright (the orange is basically the same as you'd expect on highway workers). The material is quick dry, but will get wet and a little clingy in hot humid weather or if you wear it in the rain. For fit. I have a 40 inch chest and 31 inch waste and a medium fit me well as expected. It is a little tapered in the mid-section, thus definitely an athletic fit. The shoulder straps are thin with somewhat thin coverage in the back, with most of the scapulas exposed. The chest is still snug enough to provide adequate chest coverage. The length is a little longer than some other running/sports tanks, but not excessively so. Definitely a good value in a running tank! As for the company, they sent me a pdf running guide, that I haven't gotten to check out yet, but it was nice that they seem to care about their product. I couldn't find much background on the company, though. Read more

At least for my body, I found it impossible to run in this thing without significant chafing around my armpit area. I have a slightly muscular build, but far from what I'd call anywhere near big muscles. Any distance longer than a mile or two and I'd have pain from the rubbing around the sides of my chest at armpit level. It is absolutely super light and doesn't retain sweat, so I loved it for that, but just can't use it. If it's truly targeted at solely marathon distance, where most runners are super skinny, may not be as much of an issue. Read more
