The brush is very soft, gets wet fast, and holds cream, water & temperature nicely. Far better than some pricier synthetic brushes. Minimal shedding and lightweight for easy handling. The stand is a nice addition, works as intended. The bowl is unfortunately nothing to write home about. Very standard and no porous or ribbed additions, shaving cream can easily escape and seep out if not whisked back into the bowl. That won’t be a dealbreaker for you if you buy shaving soaps that come in bowls or pucks - a bowl would not be needed. Overall i’m happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone wanting to start wet shaving and not break the bank. Very nice and sturdy shave brush holder. The brush is soft and feels great on your face. I was able to fit my 5-blade razor in the razor hangar slot, so that worked out good too. The only thing that would make it better, IMHO, is if they would have put a dent in the base plate to better center and hold the shaving bowl. The 3 pcs shaving set leaves much to be desired from a mid to pro level shaver. If you're a beginner and looking for something cheap and is more of a all-in-one solution, then this is all you need. The brush is more then adequate and does a average job of getting a lather the bowl is metal and power coated and is great but really small. This is perfect to make sure you like it before you go all in and the brush will probably last 4-6 months. Its not really made to last. The stand is great as it helps the brush dry. I bought this for my husband along with some other items for a christmas gift. The brush is of good size, thick and soft, with minor fallout. I love that it comes with a stand to rest it. The bowl is the perfect size for the soap. The soap is lightly scented and did not leave any unwanted residue, rash, or irritation. Functions as expected and is well-designed. Read more

I have been looking for a stainless steel shaving brush for a long time and this one was great. The pros: the finish makes it easy to clean and move around. The Bowl separates and cleans up nicely. The brush is very nice with the wood finish looks good. The cons: the shaver holder is very shallow and will not hold my safety razor very well it happens to fall off quite a bit with just a slight movement. The other issue is the brush is very rough since it is made of plastic rather than something more natural. I wish for a cover on the soap dish but none would make it great to travel with. The only real issue is that the razor holder's fork needs a taller end and a longer fork to accommodate the different types of razors. I would get this since its a very good price. Read more
