It's a terrific casual belt. Nice relatively thick leather, decent finish and hardware that seems superior to most other comparably priced belts that I've been able to examine in person. I've been wearing this belt for 8 months now, and I love it and think it's a great value. I'd suggest looking closely at the pictures - In my experience I got what I saw. It's a casual belt: For example, it's well made, yet there's no edge-dressing and the buckle choices are more utilitarian than luxurious. My photo is a closeup; only your BFF's should be that close to your beltline... everybody else sees a nice leather belt! There's nothing to detract from the look, however, and it'll hold up your pants for a long time and look good doing it. It's not a dress belt, and probably won't pass muster if you're going to compare belts with tuxedo clad gents at the gala, but it's a good wager that their belts are considerably more expensive (or throw-away's). I bought this belt because I was unhappy with how poorly my comparably priced belts looked and showed wear after just a few months. UPDATE: Just bought another one! I bought this belt in December 2018. I've worn it about 4 days a week for 7 years. I've worn it with jeans for my every day look, slacks and a button down for my office attire, and with my canvas work pants for construction projects. This is genuinely the best belt I've ever purchased. It's not frayed, discolored, or tattered. The material and construction seem to be very good, but you might want to tighten the rivet when you get the belt. The rivet on mine fell out after just a couple of years, which I've never had happen with a belt. Luckily, it fell out inside my apartment and so I was able to find both parts of it. Also, a full one inch belt can be tight in some belt loops, which might wear them out sooner and makes the belt a little harder to put on. I might look for 2cm or 3/4 inch next time. For now, though I'm happy with this belt which should last a very long time. It looks really nice and like I said, the quality of materials and construction seem to be very good. Read more
So farm this seems like a nice piece of leather. I ordered a size up, which, I wouldn't have had to do, but like they say, it's pretty easy to shorten the belt. All you need is a hammer, and something that will cut leather. I did shorten a couple of inches...and so far, It's great. I think I'm going to order it in another color as well. I wear with jeans, but it is an office environment, so I tend to tuck my shirts in, and it's a great looking casual belt that pairs well with a casual oxford style shoe or boots. Read more
Every once in a while a product comes along that lives up to all it says it is. As far as belts go, this one checks all the boxes. The leather is supple and well crafted; the buckle is top notch. It is the perfect jeans belt that reminds me of my long lost belts from the 70’s . The size guide is spot on. This is really a jean belt only, however this is the one to buy. There is so much bonded leather garbage out there that finding a true top grain leather belt that is everything it says it is can’t be beat. Don’t hesitate on this one, worth every penny! Read more
The leather in this belt is supple and very high quality. You can tell it's full grain leather. The provided hole punch tool makes custom fitting an easy task. This belt is so many times better than what you can get in department stores. It's full grain leather and doesn't wear out for years. My husband wears this belt every day with his jeans or work pants, and it lasted 8 years. The part that broke was the leather that held the buckle in place. We just bought a new one. I have paid so much more for leather belts that fell apart in less than a year. You would have to pay five to ten times as much to get a comparable belt from a specialty belt store online. I can't say enough good stuff about their belts. I wish they would expand their options to dress belts too! Read more
