Best comfort i’ve ever had. But minimal protection.
Excellent shoe. Firstly, the toe space. Wonderful, i have zero toe pressure throughout the day. I didnt think that was possible. Comfort, shockingly good. I have been working over nights stocking shelves and moving pallets. I am not feeling any foot strain. Usually you get a new shoe and have to break them in before comfort begins. These were great the moment i put them on. Durability is mixed. I kneel a lot, and so far they have held up to the constant bending. But i noticed since they’re roomier, my heel is rubbing down the inner material of the sole. Traction is also mixed, hard to rate yet until winter hits. in general they have good grip. However on the polished floors when putting away freezer stuff i occasionally feel unease and some slip as the products are thawing and leaving behind water. I have yet to test them in winter ice conditions but i’m expecting to have some issues there. A couple cons: The toes are not well protected since it is a very thin material. I’ve dropped smaller objects on my foot and felt it basically as if i was barefoot. It is difficult to find insoles for them. I am rubbing through the heel on the inside and was looking to see if i could get soles to extend the life of the shoe. No luck. I guess i should tighten my laces and hope to mitigate that some.
